I disagree. Plain black backgrounds or backgrounds with very low brightness are pretty boring. The 2013-2015 backgrounds are much better in my opinion.

HelloImJasper to the fans who listen a lot of ncs, you'll find that the backgrounds really give the whole video its personality. The song in your head no matter what it sounds like will have a relationship with the background and the way the circle fits with the background in the whole video. For example, when I think of the song Cloud 9, I automatically picture a bright scene by some grass with footsteps following beside the grass. It's just how my mind chooses to associate the song with a picture.

I've been waiting for a melodic dubstep/ chillstep from a very long time ! Finally!

It's just melodic dubstep. No chillstep here. If you want some chillstep, go to channels like Arctic Empire, Mixhound, or OnlyChillstep.
