Maybe that was really the point of the sweeping scene with renault at the bar playing green onions. They're just really into music.

When I was watching my tv screen...when Cooper paused the video of the picnic...when Laura's eye...revealed the reflection of the Harley hog...I was hooked. It was a kaleidoscope of layers of worlds upon worlds that was at once extremely complex and extremely simple. I was looking at my tv where Cooper and Truman and Lucy were looking at a videotape on a tv where Laura and Donna were having a picnic being videotaped by SOMEONE who had a Harley reflected in Laura's eye. Who thinks like that? And who puts it on tv?

You’re talking about that augmented G with the D Sharp note? I saw that chord laid out as G Major and tried it and it sounded like shit, so I assumed it was an F Sharp, but it’s definitely a G with a D sharp note. It is an amazing chord for sure. Cheers!

Lynch has always been as much about sound as he is about writing, directing, acting, editing, cinematography ....and everything else he does. It just took about 30 to 40 years for everyone else to catch up to him and he's still years ahead.

Months after first seeing this it is without a doubt the most beautiful and haunting performance on the show. I am now a lifelong Au Revoir Simone fan.

I just recently bought the whole series and it was maybe my 10th run through of Seasons 1 & 2,but i’d only seen The Return once and WOW! The level of the art in those 18 parts is STELLAR. The surrealism bar is set HIGH

I feel like I finally understand that this was meant to hint at the drugs destroying the town.

The lyrics “I don’t want to lose myself” and “It’s a pity to appear this way” pretty much sum up Dale this season. Beautiful, but heartbreaking.

Currently has 1.2M views. Probably from 100K or so fans who, like me, return to these scenes over and over. Trying to recapture the magic of The Return.

No one - no one knows what's up with Audrey, we're just guessing right now (a coma for 25 years??, plus you don't dream in a coma), the mention of "Billy" might connect Audrey with the young skanks at the bar, no one is sure, no one (or are you Arya).

Love this song way before Twin Peaks it was amazing to see the girls in the series. Amazing tune!

Hand it to David Lynch to find a band with a young Laura Dern-looker! Yeah, that’s *Erika Forster.* I googled her name + Laura Dern and found a Rolling Stone article in which she acknowledges that she looks “like Laura Dern.” She’s likely heard it a few times, lol. Furthermore, her bandmate camera-left of her (in the two _Twin Peaks Season 3_ Roadhouse appearances) reminds me a lot of the actress who played Ronette Pulaski!
