I know I’m late but hey I’m here, I had a 2009 f-150 platinum here in Michigan. Once snow built up on the rails while you were driving you would go to get out and the motor that lifts them would strip and then it would be time to buy a new motor for it

alot of times ya can just take the valve out of the stem and just put the quick conector thats on end of air hose on stem will seat beads cant hold on long usaly hoses are 120 psi keep fingers out of way it pops the bead quick

I love your truck!

You have to put a high amount of air in the tire so the bead pops and the strap makes it so the tire doesn't stretch.

Looks like the rim is wider than the tire, so he's expanding the sides so they sit on the bead, then inflate to correct pressure. This way when he corners, the tread stays flat on the ground rather than flexing with the sidewall.

In some cases the bead doesnt seat all the way so air leaks out around the rim so the strap helps squeez the tire to the rim so you can get air into it.

Thats awesome at 0:34 the runnning board on the truck fold up.

ive never used a tie down, but a rope and a stick works great, cuz when it sets it unwraps..

lol seemed like auto closing doors and self retracting side steps, fuckin blew my mind haha

what they didnt show is that when you do tht, it is safest to remove the valve core in the stem. i dont guess you HAVE to, but it doesnt take but a few seconds so i would do it just to be safe. nice video though. props

concretebonee go on Motosport.com or ebay and type in your rim measurements and bolt pattern and headlock rims

to place the bead lock seal on the tire if its bead lock

@raptor350antigua the strap causes the tire to not expand when he puts air in it which causes the air pressure inside to push on the sides of the tire into the side of the rim which causes it to seal so that tire will hold air without going flat

why do u have straps on the tire/?

hey mark you should remove the core from the valve when you are trying to re-inflate the tire, it lets a lot more air in and most of the time seats the bead straight away

ive got that same plain but its made from canadian cans

The strap is sothat the tire doesn't ballon in the middle and it also helps set the bead on the rim

Would love to have the HAAS cnc lathe. A must have for any farm.

just let the air out lube it up and air back up and the bead will pop right on watch your fingers
