    Hi Sir. Your videos are all very useful!.. I'd like to know if you can make a dynamo video for a direct link in excel. Let's say an estimation for the number of CMU or block units and the amount of mortar on a wall? Thank you & more power!

    Clearly explained. But just a suggestion- as a beginner tutorial, you skipped why the list needed to be flattened and what list lacing does. These two are critical foundational concepts in dynamo.

    Good video for using Dynamo, but fir just chang all windows head height can be very easy. Just select one window then right click to select all in the project. Then Chang the head height value. Or select everything in model then filter out windows only, then change head height value fir all windows.

    I don't even know what the use of dynamo is for. Could you explain...have I been missing something extraordinary in the last 15years of experience? When do I use it? I live and work in San Francisco the center of technology innovation. And still today a lot of offices here do not use Revit. How important would Dynamo be for a small to medium size office? Where I believe most of us work. I would love to have your thoughts on this.

    Andre Arantes well, if you don’t know, it doesn’t mean there is no way to use it. There are many attractive projects around the globe, out of San Francisco. Yes, these are more high end projects and you wouldn’t find them on every corner for sure. But why to be so skeptical? I mean, I agree that even today in 2019 there are lots of “AutoCAD thinking” people, who can’t learn Revit because “it’s easier” just to stick with 2d CAD for all their life till they retire. But it doesn’t mean designers can’t explore new instruments of creating design. For example, I designed a wall mirror with Grasshopper 3D (similar program like Dynamo) in Rhinoceros 3D. It has a complicated shape of geometry. We then cut all the peaces on a laser cutter and assembled this cool peace of furniture. We covered it with a lacquer and it looks just awesome! I can send you a picture if you would like to see. So, it would be very difficult to design and produce such a furniture object. And when we talking about building design - it is even much more helpful! Let’s not be afraid of new instruments of design! Let designers to design :)

    Why do we need to use "Flatten" when everything works wothout it?

  • @EMS01119
    @EMS011195 жыл бұрын

    I liked the video but, I think what it will be hard is knowing what "commands" to search when setting up the algorithm. By commands I mean the possible actions and parameters such as Flatten and stuff like that. At this point, and having understood the use of Dinamo, where should I go to learn all the actions and associated results possible? I dont know if I have explained myself clearly as I am not using then Dynamo terms to formulate my question..any help please?
