Is there a find and replace function as the one in Word? I just realized I misspelled a word 81 chapters in.

I don't have an option for Ebook settings and the file skips my prologue when opened. How can I access those settings?

What Mac OS do you need for Atticus? I have High Sierra 10.13.6. Do I need to upgrade to Monterey or will High Sierra work?

Can you make a video on how to upload to kindle etc. I know there must be steps on their end to do it. I just bought Atticus. Love it, but it takes time to learn.

There is definitely a learning curve with a software with so many helpful features. To upload to kindle - you would download the proper version from Atticus (MOBI is a common file type for kindle) and upload to that file to Amazon directly where you publish

Does it have a split screen?

Does Atticus work well for authors who use British or Canadian English? Or does its spellcheck constantly correct "colour" to "color", etc?

It does have British English option.

This tutorial answered sooo many questions, but just to be sure, there is no page count on the right side iPad/kindle etc look, right? How do I know the page count on print copies?

These are the font options available for atticus: www.atticus.io/fonts-available-within-atticus/ We don't see an option for columns within the software at this time, but looks like it may be on a list to add in the future.

Why is there two 'Chapter 1'?

Can you add pages in the Front Matter? Like say I have a map I want to add to the beginning of the book.

How long does it generally take you to format a 30,000 word non-fiction book with Atticus?

I see when you scrolled on the right side, iPad look, that it is like a very long page. That is what is goi g on with my book. Is that the way it should be? I thought it would be different pages.

It depends on what reader is used for the iPad. With a kindle app, it would be pages. As-is on the iPad, the preview is just one long "page", it's meant for you to see the overall layout with margins/spacing/paragraphs and such. It's just a preview the best they can make for the size and format of it. When uploaded to amazon for kindle, it will be in pages

Can I use the Atticus format to publish paper back books at Amazon?

I’d think so. Publishing paperback books is just uploading a pdf file, so as long as it exports to pdf you should be good to go.

Print is far too small to see. Upload docs don't work. You have to type the entire book from the beginning. Nice formatting to see the final product but I don't want to start all over. Not for the visually impared.

I found Atticus not as easy as it touts. I have built my own websites and found Atticus' tutorials not helpful. Where are the tutorials from starting a uploaded finished book to the Atticus platform? I uploaded my Doc manuscript and it uploaded the entire manuscript as chapter one as I was told by Atticus Customer service a day latter.

Atticus has a ‘divide chapter’ option which can help you divide that it into all your separate chapters.
