Make viodeo on isi and nyquist criterion for zero isi
Is that applicable in ADSL?
Now if I radiating 900 V/M at 18 ghz, and I have 20dB attenuation how much signal I'm I losing?
@EngineeringFunda
3 жыл бұрын
Attenuation for 20dB will 100 times means 900/100 = 9 V/m.
I think that the amplitude of the signal will become too small after attenuation that it will disappear in the noise, is that correct?

Aapke optical fiber vale videos mein aapne Pin/Pout se question kiye huye hai..jabki iss video mein aapne Pout/Pin se . Which one is correct sir...
@EngineeringFunda
2 ай бұрын
Attenuation in dB is always negative. In some books they may write Pout/Pin or Pin/Pout, but value in dB should be negative.
Why we mostly use Db than neipers both are log values
Thank you sir for such explained videos As attenuation doesn't effect the information only magnitude of amplitude decreases ....my question is if we are talking about AM or ASK modulations in these cases attenuation will not change the information
@EngineeringFunda

Attenuation does not change information but attenuated signal requires highly sensitive receiver.

This is also my question. Since attenuation only affects the amplitude of the signal, will it not have effect in the data of a modulation scheme that uses AM or ASK? Thank you.
Is it for sem 5 extc??

My autunations 125 Dowland 59 uplod problems modem and server pleas sendmi? Problems solved pleas mi.I am from Azerbajan.
I am confused. I am trying to use this video to help answer this question but I am not grasping the concept just yet. I've watched the video 3xs. A signal travels over three cables. The signal loses 1/4 of its power on the first cable. At the end of the first cable an amplifier with a gain of 5 dB is used. The second cable causes the signal to lose 20% of its power. At the end of the second cable another amplifier with a gain of 3 dB is used. Finally, the signal loses 10% of its power on the third cable. Determine the overall loss of signal power in dB.
@EngineeringFunda
Жыл бұрын
After 1st cable loss = -1.25dB Then amplifier will gain 5dB After 2nd cable loss = -0.96dB Then gain of 3dB After 3rd cable loss = -0.5dB So total signal = -1.25 + 5 -0.96 + 3 - 0.5 = 5.29dB overall gain is there, so instead of loss signal is amplified here.
@LongThickVeinyBBC
Жыл бұрын
@@EngineeringFunda is there anyway that you can do a video on this? Because I’m not even understanding how you got the -1.25db. Or do you know of a website or KZread channel that has a lot of examples? Thanks for your help though.
@EngineeringFunda
Жыл бұрын
@@LongThickVeinyBBC if signal loss is 1/4, then how much signal remains...... 0.75. Convert it into dB ..... that is 10 log 0.75 = -1.25dB.
Sir are you desi??
is information not present in amplitude?
@EngineeringFunda
3 жыл бұрын
It is present in amplitude.
@allahakbar3958
3 жыл бұрын
@@EngineeringFunda then if attenuation occurs then there will be loss of information
@EngineeringFunda
3 жыл бұрын
Nope, attenuation is just changing scale of amplitude, it doesn't change information, by attenuation shape/information of signal will not change. Information of signal is there in shape of signal, so attenuation will create problem in detection of signal but after amplifier we can easily extract information.
