Attention to Detail: Tyler Herro 🔬
Спорт
It's very rare that I break down a rookie's game under the microscope like this, but almost every hooper can gain some valuable knowledge from Herro's game, so it was only right. Definitely one of my favorite young players to watch, so we will all be keeping an eye on him for years to come!

Tyler is not afraid of the moment and the scary part is he's a rookie and could add to his game🤯🤯🤯

Shooting through the eye. Sweep and sway, off-ball hand in a good position, slight dipping motion before the shot. He’s got amazing form.
top tier breakdown as always. this showed how great herro's awareness and positioning is. look at how much his teammates benefit with his movement. can't wait to see the type of player he develops into.

Herro is a hero in Kentucky, PROMISE!!
Easily one of my favorite players right now. I just love how he's been able to prove the critics wrong who were saying he wasn't that good. Anybody that was actually following him in school and watching his Heat games early in the season knew the truth: he's the real deal.
Great freakin video man. Saw the Jamal Murray one first and then this one. This one is great man. I'm not really a KZread channel fan but I think I'm already a fan for yours after this Tyler Hero detailed breakdown. Good stuff bro. Keep it up.
I love the consistency 👌🏽
Regarding the "don'tk ask me why but defenders don't know how to defend this" Jimmy explained why, and told this to Tyler too, he said that often teams don't react well to his plays because this is his first year in the league, so players have played too little against him and teams going in a game study on video how to contain the superstars of that team (like bam and Jimmy) they don't study much the rookies of the team, but Butler said to Tyler next Year with him playng more minutes and being recognised as a threat, players will be on him and will know him better so it will be tougher! So he will have to keep improving a lot.

Guess what, he is on his third year and his ppg is still improving and nobody still seems to know jow to defend him
Excellent detailed analysis. Herro is amazingly poised and fearless for a 20-year old rookie. He isn’t afraid of the moment, even in cruch time of the conference finals!
Great video here man, this dude is gonna be a legend before it's over with.
Yessir my favorite player and hes been killing it in the playoffs, lets go heat nation
Yessir! Keep up the good work!
Great video. Educational and enhances appreciation of the game.
He's so focused. It says a lot that he is just as effective, if not more, this deep into the playoffs.
My favorite player right there😵😵
Such great insights. I loved the detail.
Love ur content man
Reminds me so much of Klay. So fundamentally sound and well balanced.
his shot is so smooth man, butter
Great analysis!
You doing great work Ayers 💯💯
Been watching this kid since high school he is a bucket
Been watching him since HS, he been cold
Love this breakdown
This guy is going to be special!
This kid is good.. even when still on highschool, he jump shot like that.. and now getting more developed..
I remember watching him when he was in highschool and i was in 8th grade loll, my fav player.
Knew he was cold since those Ballislife Videos!! Some people just got it!!!!!
Always been a Calipari fan ever since him coaching the tigers w DROSE. And watching all the great PGs...watching Herro at Kentucky i was thinking Booker but in his own bag. Since the season started i picked Herro as the ROY obviously he didnt win but i can honestly see him have a legit chance winning an NBA championship in his rookie SZN alongside Nunn
Bro Tyler herros game is too smooth. Glad you made a video about him because you can tell his IQ is high and he looks so comfortable out there.
This video edit is so good
He’s gonna be a star for a long time
I really like Tylers game. If he keeps developing the way he is he's going to have a really nice career in the league
favourite rookie this year
Herro's vastly improved passing skills also go unnoticed. A pure shooter like him usually takes the shot, while Tyler is always looking for a higher percentage shot, even if it's not him taking it. This new talent, I think is thanks to Jimmy Butler's influence.
This is low key the best Basketball channel

Herro is so unassuming but then hits the craziest 3s lol
Fire video dude!! #heatnation
Superstar in the making.
Keep up the good work
Miami hand offs are hard to guard because they are so dynamic versus some static offence that most of teams play.
Yes yes yes. Finally bro you did a video on baby goat
If you like quick release, Duncan Robinson is one step ahead. When you look at Tyler Herro, you can see that part of his shooting motion is to get the ball down into his pump move, while Duncan directly integrates the ball in his shooting motion. That made him even a deadlier shoter. It makes his shot to be faster, less predictable, and still in a single fluid motion. Have a look it's so worth it :)
It's not fair how nice he is. Steph blazed the trail. Now guys like Herro and Murray are taking over.
This is something Dipo should start doing. Not the threes but the mid range floaters/runners/jumpshots.
His shooting form resembles Klay Thompson. The wide base, the ready hands for the catch, and the shot pocket. Comes together real smooth
Great video bro
I love your breakdowns donws and I learn a lot from them, thank you! however I didnt agree when you sad the big sagged off on the hand offs because of the speed, after watching miami all season they always sag off of Bam (which is their primary playmaker) which makes the big be sagging off when the handoff happens. Either way I loved the video, lv from Portugal! (in europe)
@trongray664

Also he didn't mention that Grant couldn't tag the roller cuz he was on Duncan Robinson. Grant had plenty of time to tag Adebayo but he didn't wanna leave Robinson open. Its wasn't the speed of the handoff.
he has really good feet . his ball handing foundation skills are good for a swingman.
His poise is what most impresses me. Back at Kentucky and now in the NBA Herro acts like he's been here before lol
Shake back year! Let’s geaux!
I just watched Jimmy breakdown before this, so I am going to subscribe from your channel :D
3:23 Actually its not the speed of the handoff at all. It may help a lil but a lot of teams always sag their bigs especially MIL. As for why Grant doesn't tag the rolling big its because look at who he's guarding its Duncan freaking Robinson!
Tyler Herro is gonna be an NBA superstar
Please can you do a shooting workout that has different shades of Footworks for shooting like Tyler herro and Klay Thompson. By the way great content on your channel, tanks man.
he don’t have the most agile moves but his timing on his stepbacks and etc are super effective and timed well. it’s not fast but it’s so unpredictable you’ll never know when or what will he do. that’s why he’s losing most of his defenders.
We need a jump workout teacher, nice vid
Not only does he sell the drive but he also sells the pull up. Very impressive
i think we need more attention to details for non *star* players, keep up the good stuff
This video has good attention to detail :)
When he came to Kentucky it took one pre season game I knew he was a special player it honestly shock's me that he was a 4 star recruit and then in my opinion he became the best player on the team everyone said oh washington was great he did have a good season but if they run plays through him he would be showing more of his talent's I think he would be a top 5 pick in the draft miami is really lucky and thankful to have him as a Kentucky fan we've had alot of talent he was definitely a top 5 talent I've seen come through the program.
Please could you make a Tyler Herro workout
Please do a breakdown on Bam adebayo's defense!
can you do a workout based on tyler herro ??
Great video great player
finally!!!! thanks bro! for hearing me out! hehehehe👍👍👍👍
First ....needed this one! 🔥
Baby goat 🐐
Herro and Robinson splashin' like it's nothin'
Thank you
Defintely plays like Curry! Always keep moving without the ball, always looking to pass first, and a killer jumpshot
Herro+ Giannis= unstoppable shooting
Baby goat gonna grow up some day.
He's going to be one of the greatest shooters/scorers of this era. He has the complete array of shots in his bag. He gonna average 25 easy and maybe can threaten 30 but I see the Heat being a balanced scoring team going forward. That said, he's going to be the number 1 scoring option for this team very soon..
This kid is the reason why im watching NBA again since the end of Ming dynasty

Tyler Herro is like your MyCareer player coming to life at a rookie level

all the seniors thought that he is just rookie. But, he is beyond their thoughts. Every shot is wide open.
Good analysis...
Nice analysis, thanks. Who do y'all got winning game 4?
He must be a future star, if he develop his defense as well, he might be the next klay thompson or even more...
I see a young Mike Miller in him 🔥
Great video...
Lakers have to defend Herro & Jimmiy in finals more particularly. This is very important
