Use 1 tube of soft auburn and 2 tubes of light auburn. You will not be disappointed. It is a very nice copper/golden color.

Use a 20 developer or even a 10, 30 is to high, your depositing not lifting, you'll get better results.

Alright Melissa let's do this I'm doing this this week. 20 developer, bright orange dye, what next? Do you recommend the Cinnamon color she chose? I'm a virgin dark brown, not close to black, just a bit darker than medium brown, no light tones. Pretty ashy color. I have issue with under eye circles and I think hitting this copper will go with my skin tone and help brighten my face. Any tips help!

I love adore! Definitely affordable and they have a wide selection of colors. I don’t think it was available in any store near me so I had to order from Amazon!

Do your roots with 30 or 40. Use a 10 for the rest of your hair, as you are only depositing color, not lifting. 20 or more every single time will damage your hair. That product is for fark hair.

It’s only for dark hair, just get a regular permanent copper color to cover your blonde hair

I’m mixing the L’Oréal hi color hilights with developer. No bleach was used. But as a disclaimer: your hair will not come out as bright as mine since my hair was already bleached to platinum blonde a year prior to this. Since your hair is virgin brown, it’ll come out darker than mines

So there’s this trend that where you put a feather in your hair I’ve tried it I think you should

You can only do that if your hair is somewhat light. If you put it on dark hair the semi permanent dye will not show up

I used about 2.4 oz of developer with the tube of L’Oréal hicolor highlights

If you would of used 10vol instead of 30vol it would of been better 30vol lifts and deposits color 10vol just deposits color

The dark roots with the light ends were better

It’ll eventually wash out to a faded color or you can use hair color remover and then dye your hair a different color

Yes! This dye is actually meant for dark hair. It just won’t turn out as light as mine since my hair was previously bleached blonde

A little darker would look even better on you

It depends how light you want to go and how vibrant you want your color. Mine came out vibrant because I used to be platinum blonde so it was previously bleached

30 vol is too high you are lifting your hair that's why you ended up with hot roots

30 is too high! Damage for no reason. 10 volume deposits color. 20 lifts, and higher lifts even more. You are not bleaching your hair, use 10.. Especially since your starting color required no lift

I wouldn't reccomend shampooing after you dye your hair, especially the same day! It's gonna fade sooo quick if u do that. You should try to wait at least 3 days. :)

With semi permanent dyed that is true! But when it comes to any dyes that require developer you should shampoo to ensure all the product is out of your hair. Just use a gentle shampoo and proceed with conditioner :)

@@celestialtaco2626 I’m not sure for online but the milady text book for hair school or any textbook for hair school have the information. It cannot damage your hair. It pretty much impossible to damage your hair with shampoo. Shampoo is great for your hair and not enemy at all!
