I’ve been to the DLR’s in San Antonio, Texas (on the RiverWalk) and Boston, Massachusetts - the insults are just the same, but the food is pretty good! Really funny, when I was in Boston, a couple came in and almost immediately walked out because, I heard them say, “I’m not going to be spoke to like that...!” - they really didn’t get the point of the place...😂!

A 14 year old freshman in high school, our family of 7 plus our two aunts and grandparents ate at while on vacation at Myrtle Beach. I only realized after what the hats were supposed to be. One of the best restaurant experiences I've ever had.

You can tell she really likes her job there, trying not to laugh after every insult she says, sounds like a very friendly girl out of the restaurant

It's cool how they don't use the rudeness gimmick as a facade to cover up other flaws. That food looks genuinely good on its own terms, and there's no backhanded trickery to make you lose the challenge as some other 'less rude' restaurants pulled.

This was great! What a strangely original take on a restaurant theme. The whole thing is a joke, yet the food is actually taken seriously. Haha. I also expected the food to be bad on purpose as a part of the theme, but I guess that would be one step too far for any restaurant. (Haven't eaten there myself, but I'm trusting Beard's opinion here)

@@UnicornButtFluff His point is just do your best to follow local culture when you travel. In the USA, for worse as basically everyone will argue, we tip (or most considerate people do). Pretty simple in that way. Some restaurants that have started to simply pay a higher regular wage often bake that price into the items and they'll cost more.

If you ever make I to Chicago you should try the Po'boy challenge at 'Fatso's last stand.' With all the amazing food in the Midwest I'm surprised you haven't done any challenges here. Love the content, keep it up! And if you just want some good food Ricobene's breaded steak sandwich is pretty infamous and delicious. They've been around since 1946 and I always hit that place up after going to the Cubs game.

Honestly I probably couldn’t eat a quarter of this but mentally that “Hey Ya!” Song blasting in the background would’ve been motivation enough for me lmao. 😂

My husband and I ate here about 15 years ago, and had the pulled pork sandwich platter. Best we have ever had, but the ambiance of this place is, well, not your average! But all aside, great food and great fun! ♥

That was a lot of food and quite the experience. Lol

That waitress was hilarious 😂 Imagine the stress relief, being paid to say whatever the hell you like. Bet eating there was an experience!
