You can see how beautiful martial arts is when it's precise like this. The slow mo shots are excellent because you can tell how tough it is to get that good. Love it!

That Crescent Moon Kick at 2:17 is quite dangerous for the leg up front. But I'm happy you pulled that one off. And Rage Drive at 2:38 is sweet.

I can't even..HAHA this is amazing. What skills and time you've put into martial arts, it shows, as well as your fine attention to detail and how in great shape you are. Xiaoyou and Jun have been my favorite tekken chars as their moves were both the most appealing across the whole series wiht Christie/eddie's capoeira not far behind, as well as had my most respect for loving to prove I could beat really good pla,yers with both of them if I practiced hard :D I think you could prove a case here that even while this might look both "pretty" and artistic and kada (sp?) like, I'd still think this would be effective practice of potential beat down moves. Thank you for all your practice and sharing this!

Xiaoyu is based on Ba Gua Zhang, so we could look up BaGuaZhang videos and practitioners too :v She's my fav since I do some of that martial art myself. ( note : the video game version is a LITTLE flashier and overdramatic )

Nice moves! Ignore the rest of this message if you don't want pointers, think I'm mansplaining or being toxic somehow. You look good on the flips, but some strikes look a bit awkward because you're adding extra footwork that throws your balance. Instead of 'striking a pose,' imagine you have magical hands and fingertips that deliver 20 pounds of force from the smallest touch XD, and that you're actually striking or pushing a person. Then move from one form to the next with as little movement as possible. For example - at 1:00 it's a left jab with a leading right knee (kind of like you're on an elliptical but with high knees). After the first strike, you added an extra right step to the side, then went left foot, right foot, uppercut. But what you should've done after the first 'jab, right knee' was step forward with your right foot and deliver a right 'uppercut' (that turns your back away from the target) then finish with a strong push attack to the torso. Keep up the good work! It was fun to watch!

Nice attempts, most are almost perfect.

This is LITERALLY the only reason I ever bought Tekken games lol. As a martial artist, this is an invaluable collection of tips and strategies (not to mention martial arts I didn't know about back in the day, like Capoeira after trying Tekken 3). You come from a gymnast background.. could be rhythmic? Ling Xiaoyu practices Baguazhang and Piquaquan, the first one is evasive and allows for a lot of movement freedom (you might say it's the most evasive art in all of Kung fu), and Piqua is almost entirely based on explosive movement from using your arms like whips (that, in actual combat, requires a sufficiently trained palm and back of the hand), so the main mistake I see here is that you're too stiff in your movements. I get it that this was done mostly for fun lol, but if you're serious about martial arts (that actually worked for Chinese warriors for 2 millennia.. [until the damned Qing dynasty BANNED martial arts in China for 300 years that is.. not many know that]) I do suggest you take your time to work on agility and "whipping strikes". There's an old saying that goes "The best dancers also make the best warriors." Baguazhang is specifically designed for "small and weaker" people who favour movement and agility over brute strength and being static. Piquaquan (or better, PiquaZHANG "zhang"=palm, "quan"=fist) builds on top of Bagua rotational power and gives birth to an incredibly powerful internal martial art. And let me tell you.. in terms of effectiveness, I wouldn't want to fight someone who uses THAT style, and I'm decent at fighting.
