Awesome country. Interesting to see how the teepee tent went. A fire is the way to go though.

Absolutely amazing man ! I've been using them for awhile now on my alpine hunts/rutt periods. Should be coming to New Zealand very soon

The leg had been broken and healed side ways. Not sure the cause of this but I would probably say an injury from fighting or be chased by helicopters. As this area is hit hard by doc.

It’s a tent/stove I’ve been using the last couple of ruts, I can’t say too much other than it will be available in NZ very very soon

@@NzWildBoyTim I was wondering the same - have just got a new 8 man nylon MSR and also have a stove. Noticed the stove and what looks like nylon tent on the vid. Does it have a leather chimney exit sewn in ??. Keen to know more

Further up. Video content misses most of the country and the animals (unless they couldn't find more of what's there and didn't die due to 1080, or DoC recreational hunting efforts killing the Tahr Foundation & preservation lobby estimates about twice over). A cunning ploy to conceal hunting sites (& the animals seen) or just poor filming. A good demo of the effectiveness of rec hunters contributing to controlling the tahr though, which was why these landing sites were initiated.

@@johnmead8437 another negative comment from you miss John mead. This ballot block has had many years of pressure . We seen animals but not what I would expect to see. Extremely low numbers of nannies and most of the bulls were in a respectable age. Meaning the culling from zip and doc have really pushed back the numbers. Good but our tahr heard in 5 years is going to be extremely fragile. Abit like the chamois atm. There's no need to be negative here. Enjoy what you see or go watch someone else's videos. Cheers
