Lol, it is very easy to understand, especially to when you compare it to next season, you still have not seen the bigger massive picture ;) Also the studio cut some manga content that is why it was way too confusing, I recommend reading the manga, the whole Uprising arc was butchered in the anime.

Yep, they unironically skipped quite a bit of the manga and quickly paced over dialogues which definitely made it even harder to understand than the manga... I wonder how they will tackle season 4, because believe me, everything in next season is landscapes more complex and layered than anything in season 3.

Jake Wolf That means that if Zeke ever eats eren he would have the coordinator power and would be able to use the power properly. Unlike eren who was only able to use it when he touched Dina’s hand (Smiling titan) But this also means that if eren touches zeke’s maybe he can use the coordinator power aswell ? If that blew your mind you might die next season, the twists this season look cute in comparison to what is coming next, I'm not even exaggerating, it is an understatement how good it is... Tho I'm not optimistic, the manga's content seem too good to be adapted to anime well, like Berserk and Monster level of good.

He used the founding titan’s memory-tampering powers to make everyone believe the fake history that Erwin’s dad doubted (i.e, how the walls are the last vestige of humanity and the Titans are their big main enemy).

Just binged the entire series and my head was imploding in certain parts of Season 3. ... After this video, well... It still kinda is. Lol

Just re-watch season 1 and 2 of the series, you'll understand a lot of the foreshadowing that was done by Isayama and it will make a lot more sense, especially with the whole Ymir situation and with Reiner and Berth. Attack on Titan is perfect for re-watching especially after next season, almost every other episode has foreshadowing or symbolism to the endgame.

Are you talking about Eren or Ymir? Both have similar names for a reason, Eren Kruger and Eren Yeager are both related psychologically and you'll start seeing it more next season. But Ymir Fritz and Ymir aren't connected but Ymir was thought to be a reincarnation of Ymir Fritz that's why she was worshiped. If you're still confused watch the first and second seasons, there is a lot of foreshadowing there that will help.

I still don’t understand a few specific things. Like why do the eldians “beast titan, Reiner, Bert, Annie” want to wage war on their own fellow eldians within the walls? Why do eldians see eldians as devils? You would think the eldians “titans” would specifically target the marleys who actually forced them into becoming mindless titans in the first place. Why did erens dad need to inherit the royal power to save the eldians? I am on my first watch through and just finished season 3 so If any of this is answered in season 4 please dont spoil it.

Because the Merley rewrite history in their books. Their books state that the titans only wanted to over throw kill and rule over all other races. When in reality the eldiens obtained the power to help man kind prosper so the eldiens who know ( and accept) the truth and the eldiens who only learned Marley history are fighting against each other The Marley need to keep control of the eldiens so they can use their blood line to pass on the titan powers because only eldiens can use titan powers the keep control of the eldiens by continuing to remind them what their ancestors did and that they owe the Marley their protection and that if the eldiens win they would go back to destroying man kind (which is a lie)

The author Isayama's "AHA!" moments are even better when you don't know what is coming next but it was all in front of you all along :D Btw if I could recommend anything to make you ready for next season is: be open-minded about "the other side" and most importantly always pay attention to everything Eren does and says, Eren is the gray area and best thing about next season, all things related to him play a big role in the final even the first dream in episode 1 of the first season. Touching a person with royal blood who has Titan powers or is a mindless Titan would let Eren use the coordinate, so touching Historia won’t work unless she became a Titan. Having her eat Eren won’t work because she’ll be overcome by King Fritz’s ideology of peace and refusal to fight. Eren eating her won’t help because if it did then Grisha eating the previous founding Titan who was royal blood would have allowed him to use the coordinate, and that didn’t work.

How did the owl had the memory about Mikasa and armin? When he was talking to grisha? please can someone explain that?

People who possess a Titan power share memories with people who possessed the Titan power beforehand. In this case, the Owl possesses the Attack Titan which was passed down to Grisher who passed it down to Eren. Thus, memories from these people are sometimes shared unwittingly with one another. Anyone here because season 4 just came out? Season 3 was so confusing so I had to watch this.

I just read a comment saying that Erwin didn’t really push away the serum, he was immersed in his memory of being in class and raised his hand coincidentally. I’m crying. My thing is if historia’s dad could just lick the serum and become a titan, why couldn’t Erwin and armin split that serum ? I mean they would have had to find someone for one of them to consume in order to turn back human, but had they thought about it would still have had the armored titan .....
