Yeah, I always wonder why he do not just get his head up, at least to be able to see, since his head look like in a normal size compared to his body. Or at least get on one side like a swimmer. Not easy to target something when you can not see it. It look like a giant worm. My phobia in XXXXXXL size. I would have build my home underground and never got out. Just food delivering. And tunnels to escape on different part on the town.

I never realized this but there are 2 reasons that Rod’s Titan might be so unique. 1. Historia actually broke his back when she refused him. Injuries can clearly play a role in the Transformation as shown in other parts of the show. Especially such a major injury and we all know how important the spine, brain and nerves are in Titans and in general 2. Rod did not properly apply the Transformation Fluid. Usually a large amount is inserted through a syringe, but as we see in the anime he only laps up a small amount onto his tongue. I have a third thought but I don’t think it means much… Rod also has royal blood. Could have unique unknown (or known) effects.
