I don't understand how anyone could dislike this? This one of the very few AMVs I've seen with ACTUAL work put into it.

oneinvertedhouse To find your favourite things mixed together, must be a beauty. I personally think my fav is One Piece or To Aru Kagaku no Railgun, but any AMV that is epic and uses an song or anime that I like and know will win me over.

libertyevelyn Umm... It didn't really take long, since the effects were more simple. Then again, the part after the second chorus where its like"the war is won, the fall has begun" or whatever I couldn't figure out it so I left it for 1-3 weeks and after I decided to cut it out and go strait to the scream, it worked out great.

I used to not care very much for Fall Out Boy. They weren't terrible but their music just seemed like it was trying to appeal to a limited generation and I thought that's all they were capable of. This song has proven me that I was 100 percent wrong!

***** No prob, and when I said "limited generation" I basically meant a narrowed age group. Sorta like how Justin Bieber appeals to mainly to teenager girls or how Marilyn Manson mainly appeals to teens with troubled mindsets who don't know how to express their emotions (though I definitely respect Marilyn Manson for righting songs that make people think), and sort of grouped Fall Out Boy with those people because most of their songs like "Dance, Dance" or "Carpel Tunnel of Love" (which are also fairly decent) seemed like they would only appeal to people 18 and under. But this one, this one would appeal to anyone. Even an old man on his death bed. And no tv show represents this song better than Attack on Titan

Totally loved this amv at zenkaikon! It is crazy GOOD. I was nervously waiting for hall cosplay awards and this totally got my mind of the stress. I even started dancing with my friend. Congrats on the win. You deserve it!

This video has a good concept, but the way that everything just flashes and blurs away from you in a split second doesn't let you savor the moment... Just like the Alberant that bit off Erin's leg... It just happened so suddenly that you couldn't take a moment to take in the seemingly heart-stopping moment that almost made the entire fan service mad!

Well... I made it so it can stay to the constant beat.. it's how I edit most of the time. I just tried to make it match to the words as best as possible and/or background music. I feel like if i did savor the moment and went off beat my video actually would be worse. Thanks for the complement though remember, it is an Action video not Drama.

I usually prefer them that way. It depends on the song really. In this case it fit perfectly. If you want a slower video, use a slower song. This was good for its category. (sorry it had to be in NSFW contest in Katsucon, I'm sure it would have won the action portion in the regular contest xD)

... Miyanoai14 how do you know my video was put into the contest? I don't remember it even making the finals..wait... was I not supposed to do the NSFW one? But either was it shouldn't have been seen. Though there is a chance it wouldn't have won, for soem reason many other good videos accopany mine and apparently exceed it in scores ( see Crucifx Combustin, that won a lot) and I've not gotten to win another yet, but making it to the finas is good too.

***** Yeah, I was gonna say, I actually saw it at the NSFW panel, lol. Sadly I guess people were only focused on the actual 18+ video in that panel so yours kind of went over their heads. D: I did see all the contestants in the regular contest as well and voted for Crucifix Combustion actually (too bad the dayman one won. Though I adore Magi, that song was too weird for me, lol) I certainly hope you'll enter it another amv contest at a con that doesn't have a PG rating.

even though my favorite was blue exorcist in the dark at the competition, yours still was the best.

I'm having trouble distinguishing your difference between favorite and best. Too bad I didn't at least get runner up. I feel why I don't win has to do with transitioning because mine are sometimes instant while others use masking. Though he had a lot of scene changes which can show more effort. ***** my favorite manga and anime to begin with is blue exorcist. i also feel that the song picked for blue exorcist was the perfect choice. however the reason i felt that yours was the best was that the timing of the song and scenes changed with the tempo. i understand where your coming from on the blue exorcist scene changes, but if the scenes are not timed right it can be annoying or confusing. your video just flowed so nicely. keep up the bad ass work!

I think this was excellently made, the action was very well distributed. The syncing was well done. In terms of matching to the beat of the song, I think the video could be improved specifically at these points: 2.20-2.24 - it's just a little off; at 2.36-2.37 armoured titan need not have been slowed motioned-down; 2.49-2.59, the fight between e and female titan was a little off-sync as well. The video is so superbly edited I feel silly pointing these out, it's just that with this song the beat is extremely forceful, to say the least, so these things become more noticeable. Such a good video!

The song doesn't fit the anime at all, too light and upbeat, BUT, video was put together in an awesome way. You perfectly showcased everything SNK has to offer in a badass and overall epic way. Very well done. If you can fimg the right match in the future, it will be perfect. If you want to pair something with attack on titan again, I suggest taking a look at Linkin Park's "A Line in the Sand." It has all the darkness and anger SNK needs, and some awesome guitar riffs that would go well with Eren V Female Titan (no spoilers just in case) fight scenes.

I have the NewBlueFX plugin that gives me some more effects to use on my AMVs. To make the black and white monotone I use the NewBlue look pro, and the blurs I used NewBlue Motion Blur. Lights flashes I used Hsl adjust, other blurs, Defocus and the TV simulator effect. They're a few other things but I won't ramble on about it. If you like this see my New AMV uploaded yesterday, It's different from this but the right person will like it.

***** I think your talking about the timing with the drum beats. I don't look at the track to see the beats if that's what you're referring to, I just use the selection to highlight a small space around where the beat starts, play it, and listen for the starting of the beat. Sometimes I have to move a few times back to get it right so it looks perfectly timed with the anime. I actually removed the audio waveform because it takes up time when it's adding itself to the timeline. Anything else don't be afraid to ask.
