In the part of the video when he slams the heli on the ground ( siege of Shangai) he survives the impact because in that part of the map your vehicule takes no damage. Its an old known trick among the heli community. I dont really know why you dont take damage but yeah...

I really don't envy opposing team. Attack helicopter with a really good crew is hands down most troublesome unit in entire game. Pro jets can be a massive pain too, but mostly to air and vehicles, while attack helicopter just shreds everything - vehicles, infantry and provides a big threat to air as well provided you get into it's TV missile range. I did try to take out such heli frew in a jets - really hard, because even if you divebomb them, they only need to aim up, shoot TV missile and you will pray you see that tiny dot thing coming your way and manage to dodge it. Not to say that pilot can add TOW to the mix, but that one is easier to dodge imo. Good tank crews can shred infantry and ground vehicles, but they can't do shit against air and they are somewhat lack in mobility and range. Good attack jet pilots can wreck air and ground vehicles, but they are countered by competent stealth jet pilot. Even if stealth jet pilot doesn't shoot down him outright (because attack jet pilots turn tails towards base AA when they feel they are losing), he can ward off attack jet from harassing everything. MAA can be massive pain in ass, but it has limited range which coupled with being a slow ground vehicle, makes it more of a defensive platform than sky hunter. And only attack helicopter can do it all and be nigh untoucheable by anything. It has everything you can dream of - mobility and sheer firepower including TV missiles which go straight through active protection and have insane range. Not even mention that pilot and gunner can switch seats midflight, using fire extinguisher to instantly get their vehicle back to flyable state and flee or finish off the job. Honestly, i have seen many matches where matches with nearly equal teams would turn into steamrollercoaster just because one team had a miles better helicopter crew. It just shuts down all vehicles, infantry and remain mostly untoucheable by air. Even if most of team equips stingers, it only slows down helicopter, making them pop ECM and leave combat area more often, but never truly stops them. MAA is not effective, as good heli crews will just spam TVs from max range and once MAA is low on hp, will also shoot zunis from max range. The maps that suffer the most are Siege of Shanghai, Caspain Border and probably Operation Firestorm. First one because of many buildings where heli can hide from missiles, and other 2 maps are because due to helicopter's insane range, they can easily stay withing allied MAAs defensive zone and keep shooting most of thr map. Sigh, that turned out to be longer than i initially wanted to write about. I just had lots of sad moments where fun games were ruined by two guys in a heli who shutdown entire team and end up with 105-5 or so for gunner and 44-5 to pilot respectively. Only attack jet comes close to such effect on game, but at least attack jets don't harass infantry much.

Being gunner is the easiest thing to do in BF4, basically a point and click w/ more graphics. Can easily hit 140-3. Hit rank 140 after 350 hours in-game with most coming from co-pilot gunning in Siege Of Shanghai. Now I almost only do piloting in Air battle servers. But I can admit that it's very cancerous and can destroy games as you mentioned. Hopefully they tone it down in 2042...

Things learned from this video: 1. You can surf the heli 2. Keep jumping out and in heli is a sign of pro player 3. If you see crocsair in the opposite team then don't get in vehicles you have a better chance of survival as infantry. 4. Satisfying gameplay 😎😍

Been 3 years since I’ve played BF4 and the sound of bullets hitting your chopper 1:22 still sets my teeth on edge…genuine video game induced PTSD, my god that is embarrassing.

Must be the sheer ammount of experience and game sense that I require to even come close to understand what is going on the pilot's head...

That shot on jet with tow on Golmund map is INCREDIBLE

Dude your nuts with the chopper, I could never! This is also why I never touch ariel vehicles unless its the transport chopper, I always imagine there's someone on my team who's more capable with these 😂

Heres a thing: dont look at crosshair look at rocket, dont use wasd keys that much tilt you're helicopter using your mouse and try to treat you're tow like regular rocket by predicting where you're opponent will be at certain distance so you dont need to manouver your rocket that much and practice in test range on UAVs and you will get the hang of it pretty quickly now get out there and fuck shit up :)

That guy had good tips however don’t expect tow shots like the ones shown above because the tow is really weird and takes a ton of practice

I played scout helicopters quite while like when bf4 came out. Around 44,000 kills and I also like to play attack helicopters. However this is best skillful attack helicopter play video ever seen because it doesn’t have bunch of editing in this video... I would be much blessed if I found this channel at the moment when I play the game like many years ago lol. I wish you will keep post this kinda video at bf2042 man.

@@cosairfps Eeeh no, i'v seen plenty of people crash and burn like that. Same thing with the chopper surfing, that move will kill you...just like when you spawn out on the wrong side of the UH-1Y Venom. But hey I play on console, maybe things are different on custom PC games.

@@EyFmS you simply don't understand this aspect of the game. That part of Shanghai where I land the heli is bugged. It has been since the game came out. You can crash into it at any speed and you will not take any damage, as long as you stay upright. Doesn't matter whether it is in a core or hardcore game.

@eattalotta cheese mmmh no? It removes the spot because when you exit a vehicle the vehicle becomes neutral and neutral vehicles can't be spotted. Only the driver gets spotted when using a vehicle therefor if the driver exits you lose the spot

@eattalotta cheese An Exploit is usually a Glitch in the game not a clear mechanic like getting unspotted for exiting a vehicle. All BF games work like that. And by the way, its a limited time unspot because if you keep spamming the spot button you will still spot the vehicle if there is someone else in it, like the gunner.

@eattalotta cheese I play with everything in the game (except Jets) so I'm not really the case. If anything Spotting is OP in BF4 not an "exploit" only 5% of the ppl know about. If I go behind a wall of any kind both as infantry or with a vehicle you should be unspotted in my opinion because irl if you see someone in an City and the guy goes behind a wall and on the other side of the wall there are multiple ways the guy can chose, you have no Idea where the guy goes. Its dumb spotting an helicopter going behind Buildings in Siege of Shangai and already knowing were the heli will show up because the spotting is like 5secs. This applies for anything. If a Tank hides behind a wall and there are multiple paths the tank can go, its re tar ded you know wich path the Tank chooses. Spotting in BF4 is magic. I prefired thousands of kills thanks to spotting giving me THE EXACT location of a spotted enemy running in a random direction and me waiting for him to appear and gun down. Spotting in BF4 litterally works through Smoke and Out of Bounds areas like 75% of the buildings in Dawnbreaker or Siege.

@eattalotta cheese He litterally uploaded an OP. Locker gameplay and in the first minutes of the video he launches a smoke nade and kills 2 people in the smoke because he can see their health bars but can't even see the soldier itself. Talkin about Cancer.
