Attaching the Raspberry Pi Electronics
This video shows how to mount and connect up a Raspberry Pi and camera to a Tamiya TT02 chassis.
This is the second video in the overall project of building a Raspberry Pi controlled, autonomous RC car.

This is AMAZING
thanks for making videos we can follow along with
Bruh ur sooooooooooo underrated u deserve at least a million
Great!!
Thanks for the videos. I cant really make out which power wires are soldered to which. Are you joining the reds and joining the blacks? Also if I'm using a 7.2v nimh batt or a 11.1v lipo Id need a buck regulator right? As rpi's only take 5v. And everyone would need to buy a separate servo driver HAT to control the steering servo and esc and standard rc connectors fit (look like they're less than £10 on ebay. )
What wires do you need to connect servo driver hat to the servo on the rc car
Loving this series and trying to follow along with an RC car I got off Amazon. I ordered a generic one “WIAORCHI 1:18 Scale 40+km/h High Speed Remote Control Car” that I was trying to use with the raspberry pi 3+. I have the servo hat on its way, and this RC car uses a 5pin servo so rather than figuring that out, I was just going to swap with a standard 3pin ~8kg. I did notice however yours has the Electronic Speed Controller there at the end. What brand is that? Do you have one you recommend? The motor on this RC car only has a red & black wire and that goes directly into its transmitter.

I’m curious what progress you made. I suspect what you need is an ex car with the receiver and sec control as separate units. Other tutorials nominate connecting the raspberri pi output to the esc controller. (Sometimes via a motor shield )
