Clickbait! I wanted to know how to attach multiple files using the gmail app for iPhone. This video cleverly uses words in the description to pull people in but shows how to use a different app which I don’t even have or want.

Check my other video dude. It’s hard since it depends very much on the app developer. I’m here to give you alternative choices, but my latest video does show how you can do it.

You can put all files into a Google Drive Folder and send the link of that folder

You now can reply someone's email with attachment: kzread.info/dash/bejne/iJyYw8SwmtO_Zqg.html

So.. the solution is 'not' to use the Gmail app? I'm a life long android user but fell for all this iPad Pro hype on KZread and purchased one recently having such high hopes for it. The fact that I have to search for videos for such a simple task leaves me utterly disappointed. Great vid 👍 btw

You can still use it. The trick is attach files on the built in app and save it as draft. Then, open Gmail app to continue and you will see your files there. Hope this helps :)

don't want to add more fuel to the rage engine, but i have the same story and really don't understand whom to blame more - google who intentionally leaves the gmail client half-broken or apple who somehow puts spokes into 3rd party devs' wheels and designs its iPadOS in such a way that it becomes hard to implement simple and vital features.

Everything is back to normal now. Just update the Gmail App to the latest version.

I don’t like the apple iphone. I find it not very friendly to use and yet they charge the earth. Samsung is the best for me. Waste of money..

Ok the solution is to add attachments via the files app and share via email……quite long winded and adds other problems such as knowing the email address or copying and pasting in the address bar……why not just allowing us to select multiple files? Can’t get round how apple doesn’t see this as a problem………
