This is the only angst that matters lol genuinely surprised to see things healthily resolved and communicated in this compared to majority of HQ text fics in youtube that are really toxic and/or exaggerate certain characters' behaviors (*cough Iwaizumi and Sakusa *cough*). Yeah, like when people make kenma be really mean and toxic towards kuroo,, kags always telling at shoyo and calling him an idiot, tsukki always yelling at yams, iwa chan calling oikawa stupid and treating him like garbage... But what I hate the most is when they do the lyric pranks, and kags is like "shoyo I'm coming over" and shoyo says "no I don't want to" and then kagayama forces himself over anyways. That's sexual assault and I really don't like those videos, this one is really good and they are in a healthy respectful relationship.

@@lilysweatman1 this is so true! One thing that gets to me in general is that they treat these character traits as if that's the only thing that defines them. Like for example Tsukishima, he can be sarcastic and a bit mean at times, but if you really watch him in canon he's never said anything genuinely bad to anyone, is a good teammate, respectful to the third years on his team, genuinely appreciates the time and effort Kuroo, Bokuto, and Akaashi spent practicing with him, and cares about Yamaguchi in his own way. A lot of the times these text vids portray him as this really salty guy, which IS true, but then you get scenes where he says something mean or ill-timed, and without tact or consideration for the other's feelings (I see this in a lot of Iwaoi angst videos) and this is probably furthest from canon lol.

YES! I also really see this exemplified in IwaOi, because of the oversimplification of the characters. Oikawa is always "drama queen but secretly depressed" (forgetting about his dedication and work, which could be added in for MUCH MORE ANGST), and Iwaizumi always acts so cold and unfeeling that it isn't even enjoyable anymore. People forget about how caring Oikawa is to his teammates, and how supportive Iwaizumi is of Oikawa, and this gets on my nerves SO MUCH, AGHHHH Sorry for rambling, I just get really fired up about certain topics

Absolute facts! I love how this video is resolved healthily and not just "I'm cOMinG oVeR" or some random lyric prank that makes everything ok. Also, ANGST, misunderstandings and conflict can and will happen naturally in relationships, but some people like to make one of the characters completely toxic and make that angst, and if that characters says sorry they will be forgiven. Like that's not how it works? If you want to make a ship in a toxic relationship (which honestly sounds pretty terrible) you have to do it right, have one of the characters be unknowingly hurting the other, things like this actually happen in real life and is more realistic with these volleyball boys, especially characters like omi or iwa or tsuki like no they are not a holes did you even watch the show
