When people say a genre has died, is when it truly starts being alive. The mainstream time of a genre is usually when it's in its infancy, when it hasn't been explored to its fullest yet. And when the majority stop listening to that genre the most dedicated people stay to listen and innovate. And the people that discover it later along the line are blessed to find the genre late, so they can experience the beautiful subgenres and bands.

This album meant so much to me when it came out. 10 years ago, holy shit. Coming out of highschool and the years following.. Stepped away from a lot of the old punk stuff after a time but now revisiting and reminding of that part of me.
listening to it for about one year now, never gets fucking boring. atrocity solution is the shit! thanks to strrumz for the upload btw

This album has fucking changed me.
Thanks man, just thanks for this.
i cant believe i almost didnt click on this one, holy shit. amazing.
Think of all the bands we wouldn't have without choking victim and mischief brew, they each created a whole genre that spawned scores of homage bands. I've never seen or heard of underground acts having as much influence as these guys.... Maybe sublime but they did actually hit the mainstream so not sure they count

This album is so good, and I'm not even a punk fan, I go more towards metal, progressive rock, stoner rock, etc. Any bands similar to this that you guys would recommend?

Crack rock steady....
nice thought and time seems to have been invested in this album...... i know it is easier to let the songs come individually and then release them as a collection.... but to write an 'album' rather than lots of songs seems to be a rare thing these days and i may be wrong but this sounds like an 'album' and not a collection of random tracks...... i like 'albums' written that way, it is a much better experience playing a whole album that has a feel to it...... (or maybe i grew up hearing too much 'pink floyd') ... lol!......... check out 'DSM - Global Collective' .................... DIGITAL/MARXIST/SNOTTY/UK/SQUAT-PUNK from a collective of members from all corners of the globe!!.... hear combined lead vocals from , JAMAICA/AUSTRALIA/UK/ITALY/USA/BELARUS/ZIMBABWE & IRELAND..

eh i see this was 10 months ago but still...your seriously correct most albums come across as just a mix of songs this is one epic hour of a true album structured to make you cream your shorts in the most epic of ways. so good evidently i felt the need to use the word epic twice...
