THIS is the atreyu i fell in love with. My right inner bicep is the album cover to suicide notes and butterfly kisses. Songs like THIS one. Goddamn guys. The solo into those vocals at the end. More of this please.

Okay, I haven’t been a fan of their last 2 albums but this song is a huge step in the right direction and refueled my love for this band. Keep it up.

I’m 31 now and been a fan since suicide notes and butterfly kisses. The curse transcended you guys and made me fall in love with the genre as a young man. This song in specific has really reminded me lately why you guys will always be a poster in my man cave 💙🤘

Man I remember seeing atreyu live in Wembley arena many years ago when they supported bullet for my valentine. Great to see atreyu still putting out good music 👌

Lost my best friend to himself in 2019. I was thinking about him last night and going through pictures, and woke up to this song recommended by this band I'd never heard of. It resonates with me a lot I really loved this man but I never told him because I was afraid of what other people would think. Of course though now I'd do anything to let him know and to hug him again. If you love someone you should let them know and make them feel loved you never know when they may be needing it.

This is good advice, but that's often not enough anyway, even with family. If someone really wants to go, it doesn't matter if it is only for a moment, they're going to go. It is hard not to wonder, when you will never know, but chances are there was nothing you could have done anyway. Even if there was, would he want you dwelling on it years later? If you choose to, Tragedy by Brandon Saller's (same vocalist) side project Hell or Highwater is also an incredible song. For those still with us, look at Not Alone by Red. Atreyu used to be much more ... intense, but Lip Gloss and Black and Demonology and Heartache from them also fit. Some of my favorite songs of all time to this day.

I have loved y’all music my entire time I’ve played guitar! It’s been 19 years guys! Every time I find our music again it hits so close to home. Again here is a master piece I’ll hold on my music mantle along with The Theft and Lead Sails and a Paper Anchor (the song & the whole album)

Full disclosure, I have not listened to y’all since I was learning to play guitar in middle school and doing shitty covers to becoming the Bull. Spotify recommended this to me the other day and I remembered your name, so I figured I’d give it a listen. Good god almighty, this took me straight back to those days. The composition and arrangement here is so nostalgic, it hits every single point I would ever want to define what kind of music I listened to back then. Very underrated song

What a reverberation!!! It's good to be surprised! Atreyu is monster when there is less repetition and more novelty. I imagine the herculean difficulty of creating creative sound solutions that are captivating and brutal at the same time, if they went completely in that direction they will break barriers in their own world of repertoire as their best work, passing ahead of 1°Leads, 2°Curse, 3°DeathY&LongLive , 4°Congregation&In Our Wake, 5°Baptize&The Hope of a Spark, I am an optimist! Fan since 2004 and today I was surprised. Fantastic lyrics and sound! Marc is getting better, he sounds very destructive to me, for Brandon to soon become light, it's a shame Marc always participates so little, the brutality used must be exhausting. Rifs are brilliantly aligned, please break the bank more often, for us, for our legacy! New drummer Kyle, am I crazy or did the start of play give it a Jay Weinberg vibe???? The future belongs to you Kyle-"the hammer", let's write his name in history and see the world from above!

MUCH better than last couple albums. Patiently waiting on The Curse Volume 2

@johndayvault7305 I'm not 100% sire on the details and reasons. But I remember a handful of years ago they announced on FB that Alex wouldn't be with the band anymore. Not sure if it was his choice to leave or if they forced him out honestly. But as much as this new stuff is decent and all. Alex was a major part of thr core sound and hype to Atreyu to me. Especially in songs like Becoming The Bull which me and my friends drank and partied hard too in high school lmao. I loved his hard hitting raspy screams and singing
