Great to see you do those tutorials for flight sim Magnar! There's no better knowledge to gain than that from a real instructor on type!

Impressive tutorial- does not get better than this. Thank you very much for this.
Giving ATR lessons here is a very important privilege for us aviation enthusiasts. I was already watching your lectures on real aircraft ATR. Now I will watch your sim lessons with great pleasure. Thank you Magnar.
Thank you for making this video. The ATR has quickly become one of my favorite flight sim airplanes and the flight sim community is so lucky that an expert like you is willing to produce this kind of video. Thank you!

I agree, a fantastic plane which is in-between bush/small planes and airliners. I really love ATR-72-600, Wish it had more power though. 😅
Sensational, Commander Magnar! I'm putting the teachings into practice on my ATR 72 on Xbox. I watch your videos straight from Brazil. Thank you very much. 🇧🇷🇧🇷🇧🇷
Looking forward to have you as my Co-pilot in FS2Crew! 😉 Thanks for your great tutorials!
One of the best tutorials I have ever watched on You Tube. A master class by an exemplary training Captain . Thank you so much Magnar
Wow, this is a mind-blowing informational series for the one who wishes to experience what real pilots learn, know, and perform for a living every flight, it's not a game, or a SIM if one imagines (for us lesser mortals) lives are in one's hands, no reset button, no restart! Respect to you Sir. You people are next to Surgeons in commitment, dedication, and the IQ to grasp it all.
Thank you so much for this stream. Who can explane it better than you!
Hello, unfortunately I am only a sim pilot. So far, I have only flown large jets in simulators. Some time ago I decided to try ATR for MSFS and damn it I enjoy flying it more than flying the 737. Your guides explained a lot to me and taught me how to fly properly. good job, captain, and best regards
Wow, this series will complement a long you have already made about the real aircraft. Can't emphasise enought this precious knowledge and tips you give us all. Thank you so much. Regarding the controllers it would interesting to know how you configured yours (sensitivity rudder, reverse thrust etc.) By the way if you click and hold right alt-ground key on any screen (pfd for example) they will pop up and remain on top regardless of your move around the cockpit. This makes you able to see warning announcements being correctly displayed when you perform tests. I'm eager to wait for the next tutorials 👍👍Thank you again

Thank you for your tip about the pop up! I will use it in later videos. For the time being, I have not made any adjustments to the rudder or power levers.
I am only using Boeing and Airbus and in procedure they're almost similar and I am planning to buy ATR and decided to watch tutorials first if I am going to go for it but some tutorials are confusing they're going to overhead then pedestal then overhead then console then pedestal, I'm lost. Thank you for this tutorial and now I am certainly going to buy the ATR now haha. I'll try to do this part 1 first if I can execute it correctly then will proceed to part 2 after. Thank you again sir for this wonderful and good explanation.
Thankyou for taking the time to do this for us. 👍
Thank you so much for taking the time and effort to put these together. It is a dream come true for us simulation nerds.
Really useful. I have my type rating for ATR 72 600 in September and I found this particularly useful. Looking forward to part 2
Hey Magnar, thanks for doing this series. Others' procedure videos have been... 'doubtful'. ;-)
Excellent! Now I will have to redo my checklists😃👍
Cảm ơn sự hướng dẫn của Bạn
Excellent ATR instructional video. Thank you Magnar
Excellent video. Thank you very much for your continued contribution.
as a TRAVELER, **I LOVE this AIRCRAFT !** Everytime I can, I sit right beside the propelers to see the whole range of motion they go through during flight ! Maybe one day, I may take some flight lessons, even if it is a GLIDER 😉😉
Thank you for your tutorial, ATR is one of my favorite turboprop aircraft and it is great to learn from a ATR Capt. No one knows the aircraft better than a ATR instructor. Thank you sir.
I really like your tutorials and also the fact that you assisted while this plane was being developed!
@V1Simulations should be watching this series lol. What an absolute priveidge this tutorial is Magnar. I'm a visual learner, and along with your narration and clearly defined highlights, this is absolute gold. Thank you Captain.
Magnar, som vanlig, takk for alt du gjør for oss!

One word and its perfect. Thank you very much for your professional videos and greetings from Finland.
Thankyou Magnar. When the ATR came out for MSFS I was looking forward to your input and tutorials.
thank you very much! brilliantly done, recording and relax
Great tutorials. Im a big follower of A330Driver, but wanted an tutorial from someone with real world experience in the ATR. Really starting to spend some significant time now with this plane in the sim. Looks like I have some helpful guidance
Please add me to the list of people who are very grateful to you for doing this for us. All the best, Magnar!
正牌ATR機師親自教授,想學ATR看這一部準沒錯
Thanks a lot, this is the only liner I'm flying right now and having a tutorial made by someone really knowledgeable about it is the best thing it could happen :)
Wow! Great Tutorial Series! I am really looking forward to all of them! 😊
Thank you very much for this video series. Really well broken down into different sections and easy to follow. Not so easy to learn everything, though! 🙂 I'm looking forward to seeing more.
Thank you so much Captain! this will be appreciated a lot by simmers communities. I speak for italian PVI, but of course also all over the world!
Dear Magnar, thank you so much for yet another of you excellent tutorials !
Thank you Magnar, looking forward to the rest of the videos! 😊😊
Tanks and congratulations by Brazil.
Many thanks to you for taking all this time for this perfect training. A real pleasure to follow...!
Hi Magnar! I really liked this plane, and now I fly in MSFS2020 only on it. Even though for a long time my favorite was the Fenix Airbus A320. I watch your lessons, and even with my, unfortunately, poor knowledge of English, but with your intelligible intonation, I understand almost everything. Thank you for your work, because at this moment I feel like not even a simulator fan, but a pilot in training of my ATR-72-600.
Thank you so much for doing these! It is always nice to have videos made by someone with rating on type.
the definitive, must have for the ATR....many, many thanks
Absolutely brilliant tutorial. So much more than I have seen in any other. Thanks very much. Look forward to your golliwog instalments
We appreciate you providing lessons like this, especially for simulation content/environment.

Thanks Magnar! I start my training in January on the ATR. This will be a huge help!
Thanks Magnar for the tutorial video! I can see you also had the "stick shaker" bug where the PFD notification cannot be cleared. Hope this also will be fixed by Hans. Looking forward to the following videos.

Appreciate your input on the aircraft. I've had some weird issues with the aircraft that I hope will be addressed soon but look forward to any directions you provide on the handling of the aircraft.

You the best Sir😊
Very good tutorial Magnar. And now i can clearly see that this plane is a lot harder than A320Neo, where a lot of thing just working in automod.
Thank you very much!!!
Good video!
So very usefull thanks a ton!
Finally !!!!!! Let’s go !!!!!!!!!
Morrn morn ! Mange tak !
Takk for flott tutorial!
You all have a Brazilian ATR pilot too explaining very well the operation with aircraft. In Brazilian language.
Too cool to learn how to do this from an actual pilot of an ATR. I may not ever be a pilot but I can pretend. lol also good to know if a zombie thing breaks out I can find one a these planes and start it myself!!!
Wonderful informative video captain! Request you to please make video using ATR72-500 sim.. please !
