Something tells me they’re gonna dial it way back. I’ve been playing for like two months and I’ve never gotten repair kits like that now I have so many of the improved ones.

I purchased the Utility Box Generator Bundle & you were right, MrWestTek, I am very grateful for your recommendation! Not only does the Fusion Generator (100 Power) easily cover a two-storey high C.A.M.P, but importantly, I got back 10-15% of my C.A.M.P Budget, after removing unnecessary Power Connectors etc. These Generators take the headache out of wiring up a C.A.M.P & save valuable building time & resources.

You can't build in the new shelter while in Free Cam mode, normal mode works but some things sink into terrain or float in some areas. If you place the item where it will place, blueprint the item, store it then place the blueprint it should work - much like building in pre existing buildings. You can hook wired connections to the utility generator there is a connector on each variant. I still hide it in the roof of my builds and use the connector on a sign trick to move it to where I need a wired connection (fusion core recharger)

place the item down first then you can use free cam to adjust it, just an extra step but it works in the shelter just fine.

The utility box generator completely solves the issues of wiring the hunters' lodge. Its practically a must buy if you've bought the lodge already.

I bought it too. Last time you could get just the fusion version for less atoms, worth checking if back as that is all you really need. You still need to wire it up for items that require hard wired like vendors. A must buy

I got the utility box generator set when they first came around, and they are 100% worth it. You will still need to wire in certain things that don't accept radiant power (anything with a physical power connector on it), but that's not too much of an issue. They also have the most generous radiant power radius.

I don't really get it though. I bought it because Mr West Tek made it sound like it made wires obsolete, but then I realized it still needs wires. So what exactly can it power? Light and stuff seem to work with my regular fusion generator just being nearby as well. Right now it feels like a giant waste of atoms.

@@dahSweep I'm pretty sure the normal Fusion Generator does not radiate power. The power is probably radiating from a power connector or pylon that's connected to it. That being said, I agree that the usefulness of these Utility Box generators is overstated because you can't eliminate wires. It might be good for someone who wires their camp like a plate of spaghetti, but as someone who actually takes time to 'perfectly' route power throughout my camp, this is of very limited use to me. If you're unhappy with it you can request a refund through support. If you're lucky they'll refund you AND let you keep the item anyway. I suggest using the text message contact option for the quickest response.

​@@picklebears I'm probably one of those that wires their CAMP "like a plate of spaghetti," but even I would only get _very_ limited utility out of it. I have wires running everywhere for redundancy so I'm not losing power to half my camp when something breaks, but almost none of it uses radiant power. Unless the utility box generator can provide radiant power to things that normally need a wired connection, such as water purifiers and turrets, then it doesn't really benefit anyone.

It's a shame the fusion utility box skin isn't available as a standalone for 150 atoms as it was previously. 900 is a lot for 3 generators most won't even use

actually they come in handy, if you need to power something that cost 6 energy, ie. weenie wagon and popcorn machine you can easily do that with the smaller generator due to its form factor, even the vanilla large generator is huge compared to these versions, just something to be mindful if you like to build camps with compact utility’s AKA cozy houses.

The Utility Box Generator is the BEST generator IMO. Not to mention it doesn't make any sound. :D

I just wish the saw tooth bundle had a weapon skin cuz the weapon the skin looks like it is holding looks awesome as hell

Who else is waiting for a skin for the RR? Lot's of newbies weren't around for the only ones that exist. Sucks, because the base skin looks like the texture is stuck rendering.

I don't know if this is still possible, but when this generator bundle first came out, I was able to buy just the fusion one (without the entire bundle) at a fraction of the cost, by buying it from the camp build menu.

yes this is true, i too purchased mine this way, the strangest thing is the bundle itself doesn’t get a reduced price at all, so if you bought the fusion gen standalone, such as ourselves, you would have to pay for it again as it’s not reduced in the total cost of the bundle, damn shame.

Sadly not an option this time around. Selecting it in the build menu only offers you the bundle.

does anybody know if the vertiguard power armor also has the jetpack in this bundle or not ?

Utility box generator is a must-have for camp builders imo. After grabbing it today and installing it in my camp, I was able to rip out almost two floors worth of conduit piping and free up loads of budget. Greatly appreciated piece of camp kit, just sad it cost money to acquire. The fusion utility generator can span up to 6? Tiles width and 4? Floors high, so you drop one centered in your camp and everything wireless will be powered no problem.

Thanks for your videos, new player here and have learned alot from you. Even though most are above my level of play, still gives me an idea of what to expect and aim for. ❤

So far the Utility Generator I have in the middle of my camp powers everything without lines...except for my weather manipulation(Rain) and my Hollywood Popcorn Machine...everything else, is powered. I do NOT have turrets and other things in my camp I am sure would still need to be wired up.

I love the Summer Camp vault shelter. I find a couple things float a little but I’ve had no problem with things disappearing. I play on PS4.

I play on Xbox and for some reason one time I went in there and all my stuff was halfway in the ground lol. It fixed when I reloaded the game tho

The Utility Box generator suite pics are misleading. There ARE wire attachments on them to hook up wires/switches (for things that need wiring). They just took pictures from an angle that hides the connectors. Best generator ever. Too bad they didn't sell the Fusion Generator by itself for 150 again; that was the best Atomic Shop deal/purchase ever.

Personally, I think the vault tec generator (the small, smoke-free blue one)was a better investment. I just do the trick of attaching a power connector to the generator, then hide the gen inside my stash box. Turns my stash box into a “wireless” generator.

It seems that we're getting the Appalachian Thunder Pipe skin for the Gatling Gun on Thursday (in the daily deals section, for 250 atoms). I can't wait!

Anyone else really struggling with crashing at the moment. Only got the game a few days before the update and was a crash every now and then. Now it seem to be 2-3 sometimes more an hours what’s going on ?

Yeah it's bad this season. They gotta fix it. I just crashed 3 or 4x in 10 minutes. The inventory sometimes causes crashes along with vendors or script machines

Omg! I was so happy to see the generators in the store!! I'm pretty new (2 months in) & had just recently learned about them. And that they were offered as a bundle and a single for 150 atoms... I was hoping for the 150 atom single. But I'll take this!! And got it when it dropped. Now they need to put the Mirelock Steamer, Wasteland Exchange, raider goon outfit in the store. And put the cement truck and acid producer on sale. Does the cement truck and acid producer ever go on sale?

Yeah the butterfly sanctuary (acid resource) gets cycled in the Atomic Shop every 2-3 months or so. Hang in there, by my estimation it should be available in about a month from now.

Sucks the Utility Box Generator doesn't make every single powered item wireless.

I have not tried the shelter Oxcal showed that you can not place anything and he has a song about it Lol.

Is the fusion one in camp items separately again? If so that's the only gen you'll need. Tbh it doesn't even look half bad n it's quiet which is another bonus

I think i got that utility box a few months ago for 500 atoms or am i crazy and dont remember it being 900? Still a great investment but still have to hook up certain items. (popcorn machine, rad shower, hotdog stand, ect)

yeah and if you bought the single gen for 150 you wouldn’t get a reduced price on the bundle, checked today and the suite was 900, it was more of a atom trap but if you were okay with just having the fusion gen only then no harm there, i still think that was shady of them to make people pay the same price for the bundle even if they bought one of the items already.

I had a crazy bug yesterday on Xbox. Anybody else? Like locations weren’t fully loading, game was totally broken.

I bought the generator its awesome! you can now just have light inside the house without needing to have the generator inside and its also smaller like when you see the fusion core generator and use that skin its so small you keep so much space left over

I read in someone's comments elsewhere and from 4 months ago that the generator still needs hooked up, can anyone confirm this? Tell me it was just a bug because I bought the alien generator and everything and at this point I would rather just wire because I have machines anyway ... though I have 3 shelters, damn it ...

Does anyone one if the utility generator covers the entire radius of your camp or a smaller area within your camp?

That generator seems lovely to use on camp interiors, no more having to fish wires and power connectors through door frames and windows lol!

I was about to get the Generator, then realised I'd still need to run wires to my laser turrets - which I need because I decided to set up near Camp Liberty and here be beasties lol Great item for certain camps though! ETA: I got the Tato genny from the scoreboard and it's small and quiet enough to hide around the place :D

They still have wire attachments. Dunno why they took pictures from an angle that hides those attachments. Still a must have because it frees up alot of wiring for lights and such.

@@TheMalmut Thanks for the tip! I had a good look at my current camp and I can place the Tato generators right next to the turrets and not have wires going everywhere. Having one central power source would mean working out how to route and then hide them lol The lights aren't really an issue in this camp as it's a Campsite theme and I'm using lanterns instead of powered lights mainly :D

6:21 Those who don't have these generators from this particular atomic shop update you might want to get them now because they are quite good they are also good for those who have a bunch of lights that require no wires to power them so therefore you can get rid of all those pesky conduit nodes Not to mention they are quite compact

it’s just a coincidence that the concept of the mask shares similarities with beetlejuice, it’s probably got nothing to do with it though from a legal standpoint.
