This video explains how the pressure changes both horizontally and vertically in the atmosphere and how to measure them by using isobars as reference to determine the pressure gradient.

Hi, I am a Meteorology Teacher in a University (KUFOS) at Kochi, India. I find your video truly useful for my students and suggested the same to them for their studies. Thank you.
I swear this channel is so underrated. These videos should be FAA approved as official theory studies
I find your videos to be the most accessible and professional form of transmitting knowledge that I have encountered so far. Great graphics and language that is fully understandable even to me with school English.
I've been under a lot of pressure lately and this video has helped to relieve it along with my daily bottle of Jack.
Thank you so much ,your videos really helped me with my studies,a big applause for you
Aviation Weather ... something I've struggled with. Your videos are so HELPFUL in understanding this subject. GREAT easy to understand explanations .. complimented with AWESOME visuals. THANK YOU for sharing. CYQT 👍🇨🇦👍
Thank you so much for the time and dedication you put into this, I am so thankful for to be able to learn from videos as educational as this one.♥ 🌓🌧💧⚡
EXCELLENT content and OUTSTANDING presentation! So GREAT to be alive at this time. I recall a time when one had to scour the library and public broadcasting resources to access this information, knowledge and education. Thank you so very much and I will like, subscribe and comment. I will gladly commit to further support as I am able. Thanks again and please continue to teach, enlighten and inform.

Thanks a lot
thank you very much, very underrated man
Thank you!
great explanation!
Great videos! Any chance you plan to create ones about atmospheric fronts and weather phenomena (clouds, precipitation, etc?)
very useful....keep on👍
Please do video on Mach speed
will you be uploading all(more) the videos in meteorology?
i have a question: why would horizontal pressure Cloums have same height? the hotter air still expands and grows vertically more then cold air ? thx
I have a question :on the vertical scale at 5:55 , do the isobars being closer to each other mean faster winds as it is mentioned on the horizontal scale with (H) and (L) atmospheric phenomenons ?
I have another question: since the hot air masses (L) that rise are counterclockwise in the northern hemisphere , then when do the those air masses start rotating clockwise as they start going down and therefore turning into (H) , I tried to represent that in 4 dimension but it turns out to be quite tricky
Love from india 🇮🇳
