Atlas46 Bennington Chest Panel - my new tool rig
Тәжірибелік нұсқаулар және стиль
Let’s get tactical. This is the Bennington Chest Panel from @atlas46gear. I’ve been using it for the past few weeks to see if it can replace all of the things I’ve used before to keep my most used hand tools close to my hands. I’ve tried aprons, tools belts, tool clips & holsters. You name it. They’ve been either too cumbersome, uncomfortable or get in my way in our small shop. So far, this new way of holding my “everyday carry” seems to be working well. I’ve even added my own tweaks. Now it’s obvious why tacticians like law enforcement and the military rely on chest rigs to hold their gear. Adapting this design for shop use makes a lot of sense!

That's a pliers wrench at the end great tool love it as a plumber
I will have to look into more of the tac gear, not a big fan of many of the toolbelt solutions since I also dont want things hanging off of my sides.
Oh you could have tried the Atlas belt clip thingy that looks like a small money clip
Can you do an update on this?
When's the update?
Very cool set up. Does anyone bug you about wearing it or looking “tactical”?

not really, and there's a reason that those who do the real tactical stuff wear chest rigs. It's effective.
Kinda cool looking. Tool carrying is always a dilemma for me. What of punch awl do you have? I need to get one.

Mine is from Woodcraft, one of their Japanese style awls
what made you decide on this size vs the larger one with 3 slots instead of two?

I wanted to keep it as compact as possible and I’m glad I did since I noticed that as you load it up the weight can become a factor on your back. I’m still optimizing my configuration but the general idea of keeping it light and compact is holding g true

@@michaelwood1222 I suggest contact them directly. They may be able to accommodate since they make each one at the time of order anyway --- it took a few weeks to get mine
