I was just there yesterday! Bought my very first fountain pen! A Monteverdi Rita with a broad tip. I’ve been playing with it all day! I didn’t know this place was a destination. I just found it on my lunch hour.

I've been waiting for this video, so enjoyable. If I had a store like Atlas near me, I'd be in heaven. All those pens and paper and ink! Thanks for taking us along.

I just adore Atlas Stationares. We are actually dropping by on our way home today! We had a nice little weekend vacation at The Great Wolf Lodge, which is just north of the city. I asked my husband if I had a budget and he said $0 dollars and $0 cents 😂 He knows me too well to know that won’t happen! Hopefully I’ll be able to hop on and listen to you guys today, as we will be on the road back to St. Louis! Great video! Beautiful pens. ❤

Atlas staff is amazing. It’s such a treasure to have that store in Chicago. It definitely gets a lot of my $$ 😂. I actually was able to order that Chai Latte pen from Atlas before it sold out. Can’t wait until it’s delivered. Definitely thought of you when it was announced!

I just have to say that I'm so glad to see someone else that grips their pen like you do. I always feel like I'm the only one who has that grip.

Right now I am using my Jinhao Dadao 9019 for journaling filled with J. Herbin Bleu Pervenche. Great video! I'm considering a Pilot E95S as my first 14 K gold nib pen. Not sure if I want it in wine or black.

What a great trip to both Mexico and Chicago 🎉 Did you happen to see the new Wearingeul Atlas ink? Curious how it looks in person

I preordered the chai latte through Appelboom as well and was so glad to find it, especially at that price, when everyone was sold out!

Now we get to see you journal, use inks explore the pens you own during a pen freeze. What pen do you pick from the collection to gift to a future pen friend? I always have a few for such events.

I just bought two pens from the Sailor Smoothie collection. Oh boy. I think I need a no buy as well. But I am super excited about those pens! Sailors are my absolute fave and I have at least 2-3 inked up at all time. I loved your chatty video - the chaos and forgetting stuff is how I sometimes end up shopping for pens too - it's such an event and then you go there and it's overwhelming! My sister calls it 'the frenzy'. ☺ And we use it as a verb too - "I went to blah blah and frenzied'" - which means I went there, got overwhelmed and I'm not sure what happened...either I bought nothing or spent hundreds of unplanned dollars! 😂

Loved this story. I want to make a trip to Chicago soon. I just received some new pens for my birthday so I am writing with a matte black VP with a fine nib and I have a Black/Gold Falcon in the EF soft nib. These are mainly the pens I am writing with these days.

Ever since childhood I have been a writing supply/office supply junkie just like my dad! My mom used to joke that she could never let the two of us loose in a stationery store unsupervised with the checkbook. I dream of being able to visit an awesome store like Atlas to be able to ogle all of the gorgeous offerings in person! (but I've done plenty of damage just shopping online... Lol) Love your channel & enthusiasm for all things fountain pen! ❤

I recently got the Cancun pen too! it's my second Nahvalur and I absolutely love it. I have it filled with Kaweco Paradise Blue ink, a really nice turquoise that leans ocean blue. I'm hoping they'll restock the Nahvalur Horizon Twilight before my birthday in may.

I'm eager to put blue in my Cancun pen. It really is so pretty! It will be a great summer pen! That Paradise Blue sounds perfect!! The Twilight is my favorite in the Horizon series! I hope you get it!

@@timewithtata8004 My Cancun has less orange on the barrel than yours does, so I chose to fill mine with blue first, but I have a couple fun orange inks in mind for the next fill. And I agree,I think it will be a great summer pen when I take my journal out to the beach and write there. I'd definitely recommend trying out the paradise blue if you get a chance, I think the ink was really affordable and its one of my favorite blue inks for a little pizzazz.

You can pronounce the brand as Narwhal, as it was spoken by its customer base, BTW. Some Last Chance or Clearance pens will be posted back to regular price, when a new batch of the same pen arrives to retailers. The original last chance pen could be have been a discontinued or a return,hence the new price set higher.

You have a good, expensive life....Tata.😮

Campus paper isn’t as fountain pen friendly as rhodia paper I’ve found. It’s not bad but it does bleed sometimes
