Mindhunters had a full writing team and I am guessing subject matter experts. This has low paid CGI workers and almost certainly a half-AI writing staff. Rebel Moon was just an out of control egoist director being allowed to do whatever he wants and failing, like literally every other time a director is given so much leeway.

And find AI Shang Chi (probably they get captured by him at some point toward the end of act 2). Then they spend act 3 fighting. The only question unanswered is "will AI Shang Chi turn out to be the good guy?" Bonus points: 135% the AI robot ejects J-Lo in the final battle (she will cry and say she doesnt want to go) because his most important protocol is to "protect the pilot"

I will give it this, the mech looks well designed, which says a lot because American made mechs normally look like a fiasco, or they are scared to commit to a mech/power armor at all. Similar to how Starship Troopers removed the ape suits all together, and Edge of Tomorrow didn’t have them wearing power armor, but instead these clunky looking exo-skeletons which were nothing like what they were in the book that film was based on. Heck, even when Starship Troopers brought in the armor it was nothing like the ape suits. That isn’t saying anything about the quality of the films, but more so I am just happy to see SOMEONE make a well designed mech/power armor.

Hey a Starship Troopers fan!! Don't see those everyday. If you talking about ST3 with the Marauder mechs, at the point, they shouldn't have even brought them into the movie cuz they were BAD to look at it. Looking back all thise sequels were terrible, only ST 1997 is a goated classic, albeit a lot different than the book. Warrior bugs from 1997 film still take the cake for my favorite creaturrs design from any movie.

Hard agree. The editing of the trailer and the dialogue are atrocious. Really feel for the people doing the cgi though. It's not groundbreaking, but still looks good, even if a bit generic.

netflix, disney and hollywood are all killing sci fi (most movies and shows). They wonder why gaming is making more money than all other mediums combined! However DEI is going to put an end to that soon too.

@@HellfireHellesto Agent Atlas goes on the mission to hunt down the AI, they track him down but their attempt to pursue is thwarted and she and Smith go down on an inhospitable world where she's stuck in Smith's cockpit. She doesn't trust Smith, and locks him out/shuts him down to do the job herself. She screws up, and only turns him back on because not doing so will result in her death. Smith saves her again, they reconcile with eachother and find the AI. They have their badass moment fighting through the AI's grunts while it pontificates about how it's superior to humanity in every way, and how mankind is flawed. There's a showdown between the pair and the AI, where Smith sacrifices itself to save Atlas, changing her outlook on life and how machines can exist with mankind. Credits, ~50% audience score on rotten tomatoes, marginal profits.

I don’t really mind Jlo or her ego, what bothers me is her always having to look fierce…she’s been in that mech suit for so many days being tossed around like a rag doll and her face is still beat?! Lol

I do not remember any good Hollywood movies from the past 15 - 20 years. All I do is keep rewatching movies from 70's 80's and 90's. It has been 4 years since my last visit to the movie theater and I do not think I will ever go back again.

Honestly same, the amount of times I've rewatched movies like Robocop, Escape From NY, and Starship Troopers out of sheer boredom is kinda crazy. I wish people still made cheesy movies I think that's the issue everyone is trying to hard.

@@JLSJakartaLoveStory actually I'm only 18, I just love the classics. I grew up watching older movies with my mother. Cry Baby was a big one she made me watch it 100 times, but I've always loved scifi movies, like star wars, back to the future, etc. I also like gangster movies, Godfather, Goodfellas, Scarface, honestly I've watched basically everything from 80s-90s.

I already know Brown's character will be the one to "sacrifice his life for humanity" and I'd still rather follow that short, predictable arc than Lopez's. Come on, Netflix. Step it up for just a second.

Give us TITANFALL 3!!! Writing looks terrible but I'm not upset that mecha are getting some screen time. The mech actually looks good 👍

J Lo's line delivery is truly Oscar worthy. I guess someone at Netflix got bored and slapped this together in a couple of weeks.

This should have been Titanfall, but It still looks good. We still need a live action Titanfall because Hammond robotics will never stop, and people need to know that.
