Atlas N Scale - Union Pacific - EMD GP40 - New Engine At ECRR!!
Hi everyone.
In this video I take a look at an Atlas N scale masterline gold series series EMD GP40 in Union Pacific paint scheme.
This one is road number #501 and has already been paired up with resident geep #1202 to form the motive power for the local on the layout.
Speed matching these two was quite a challenge and took a lot more cv tweaking than usual to get them running sweetly together
Happy to say all is good and they make quite the dynamic duo on their local pick up and drop off duties at the refinery.

Hi Ben, A thought you had trouble pairing these two super locos but its simple one is a turbo charged one and the other not there's your answer!!!!But they do look good together and more like you would see in the real world well done. Cheers Robert.
I wish they had done a more recent paint scheme for the UP GP40 and not the 80s scheme, maybe next time! Glad they're doing ESU on these now.
