There are so many independent film makers out there who can’t get their movies made, yet Hollywood wastes millions of dollars on this kinda sludge

I wanted to brush it out of her face so badly! It made my face itch. I’d love to know how much time they spent before each take “sculpting” it to perfection.
I haven't made it through the video but I know Joseph gonna get at this hair 😅
How the heck did they get Sterling K. Brown to play in this?

Same reason half of Donald Sutherlands movies are shaky--a pro works for the money this time, and for their craft next time.
I don't know which is worse: Jennifer Lopez as any type of analyst or Mark Walberg as any type of educator. Lawd can't we stop giving them work?

Joseph talking about JLo is one of the great pleasures in life...
I was chomping at the bit waiting for Joseph to review this and Jennifer's hair. Never disappoints!😄
Lol. "J-Lo is no Sigourney Weaver, & this is no "Aliens." Lol." Keep-up-the great work(s.) guys.
Joseph annoyed they didn’t upload Smith to the cloud has me dying 😂. Also, Jlo’s acting in this was bad but it was terrible the first 20 minutes when she’s trying to be serious and tough.
Uh oh...i smell some dragging about to happen...

You can tell from their faces in the thumbnail that this is gonna be a fun review 😂
This review is so on point! She was extremely SHRILL!!!!! I don’t play video games, but I found myself thinking that parts of the movie looked like an old one. I watched parts of Anaconda after watching this. It’s amazing how much JLo’s acting and look have changed.

I really enjoyed it! I was surprised that people disliked it so much. The relationship between her and Smith was very sweet ❤ And, they made a lot of good points about society and the future of AI. The worst part was her hair 😮
Just came here from Letterboxd after seeing y’all ratings 🙈

Literally just finished watching this movie and immediately came here to hear your thoughts…lol
I don't get how her Movies are Breaking Records on Netflix upon opening when they being Trashed by Critics.- she must be fixing the numbers.
Jennifer Lopez being all the Charlie’s angels, Bosley, and Charlie. What is this Netflix picture deal, and can they just give her a payout.
I hoped you'd say it- They lost me when they tried to convince us in the 1st 7 mins. JLo was 38/39? bye. It was a good story but the 1 hr. of just her overacting- badly - cringe. The hair maybe she was trying to look younger? like when she was running up and down the block in the Bronx. :p

I kept thinking, this should have been 38 years later, not 28....
This movie had its flaws but I must say I still really enjoy it! I definitely would watch it again. I can understand why people might not like it 🤷🏽♀️
This movie was SOOOO BAAAAD. The chess piece was clearly her Inception totem. 🙄 Her character set up was so heavy handed.
Funny things that I think you didn't mentioned: - The AI terrorists are so so advanced, so high tech that an small magnet can destroy them, but wait, even 28 years ago they didn't tried some kind of magnet weapon to kill them all? Like a big EMP may be? lol! - The amazing MECH tech that JLo need to actually make MOVES (Move legs and arms) inside the Mech to actually move it?, so she gets even tired and sweating because of the physical effort ? lol! - A.I it's totally in SYNC with JLo, but she still need to do swipes to the UI and TALK to the A.I to do things? so advanced lol! - A.I. first and worst terrorist in the Universe, can makes a lot of clones of the "Cosko"? terrorist, but it CAN'T do millions of clones of himself and spread it around many galaxies. So advanced, no no!, I must be only ONE! LOL!. Same stupid plot than "THE CREATOR" movie, the stupid kid that CAN'T BE CLONED by millions. They didn't learned from THE MATRIX virus? SMITH?, that it cloned him self.
I actually liked it. I cried when smith died.

A quad Americano is four shots of espresso in hot water. That is 300 mg of caffeine and no sweetener. It is a lot of caffeine
I was entertained enough for something that was streamed at home not paid for in a theater. I dont believe the cgi was any worse than any scads of marvel films with flimsier scripts than this.
Yeah im going no with this. Nice review gentlemen 😊
LOL I used to drink quad americanos when I worked for Starbucks back in the day
JLo is just bad casting
Those pull quotes are brutal and all I needed to know to confirm what I thought when I saw the trailer. I'm fine with Jlo retiring at this point.
Shaaaady screenshots lmao
MY ENGLISH IS BAD, I KNOW THAT.. I ONLY WATCHED 1 HOUR AND 5 MIN AFTER 3 FIGHTS WITH MYSELF, BECAUSE I DID NOT WANT TO MISS THE HOCKEY MATCH BECAUSE IN ROMANIA THE MATCH WAS AT 3 AM, FOR FEAR OF SLEEP, I I INTENDED TO SEE THIS MOVIE UNTIL THE END. THIS ABOMINATION OF A MOVIE HELPED ME MORE THAN 10 COFFEES, EXACTLY THE DESIRE OF THE CHARACTER PLAYED BY J LO THROUGHOUT THE MOVIE. I WAS SO FURIOUS FOR THIS EMBARRASSING PRODUCTION. BY THE WAY, I WAS GLAD FOR EDMONTON IN THIS MATCH 6.
"Yes, Kylie Minogue was in that one"
I knew this would not end well. .5 wowwww.
7:36 😂 do what you need to do girl!
I guess I don’t have good taste in movies anymore because I actually liked it. I prefer her movies over her music that’s not shade I’m just saying 🥴
IT accomplished what IT needed...number one Netflix just leave JHAG to her own devices...she wants it, she gets it
Since streaming services operate on views, not ticket sales, does this have an impact on executive decisions?
I’m still undecided whether to watch it, but am curious how its currently in #1 spot on the UK chart considering all the negative reviews. She can’t catch a break right now. Nothing she’s doing is going to plan right now, but she is to blame for much of it tbf.
Whoops! Two times you've noted "cheap" in comments about the CGI, this and *Megalopolis* - but here, there's also, "shitty chaos!" - where's all those millions being spent is a mystery!
Joseph should be a hand model
Stick with it Nick!
the syncing bit with JLO and the AI scene thing took like 20- 30 minutes of screentime i just found that bit was the part that made me grab my phone and start scrolling through instagram and yawn. i don't want a 30 minute scene of someone trying to figure something out like move on like i get the point of it but its a waste of story and that would turn audience off..also when she was fighting with the AI and getting frustrated i just felt like that was so cringe and forced and the acting felt off.
Im kind of living for this era of JLo. gives us lots to talk about at least
@heymistercarter.

It's like she wanted this to be a revival year for her career, with all that she had going on. Instead, though, it's like this is turning into her Katy Perry WITNESS flop era year.
Nick and Joseph which one is worse? This movie or JLO's recent documentary? Or is it a wash? I have heard the documentary is fairly horrid as well.
Nah man guys...I found it was entertaining. And chess was integrated in the ending.
Can y’all please do the movie tarot I just watched it and I just need y’all point of view. I liked it overall.
When Nick uses words like “taxing” and “trash”, you know it’s pretty bad. 🤣
A German YTer film critic, his name is 'Behaind, pointed out that's all about people who just like to see Jennifer Lopez. THE MOTHER ranks in the most successful films on Netflix.

Check out his critic kzread.info/dash/bejne/pnyZw8mBlrfQlM4.html One scene he describded was the same turning her head as Rambo in one of these movies 🤣
Not sure what you mean, J Lo was clearly smart. After all, she had a 31 game win streak in chess against an AI. 😉🤓
I've always said JLo is a mediocre actress. Her acting skills are good enough for light tv comedy. Not because she's funny but because her delivery & tone would blend with the other mediocre to limited experience actors
I liked the movie enough action and emotion
It was so bland. If people fell asleep while watching, I don't blame them. It tried to take from other more successful sci-fi films, but didn't even do that well. J.Lo overacted to the nth degree and the age didn't add up frfr
I bet everyone was trying to hit on Nick in Cannes.
First: The Greatest Love Story Never Told & now this.... 😒😒😒😒 Movie flop, Album flop & Marriage flop.
A movie name after their character definitely sound ai generated
It’s even worse. Harlan abandons her at age 8, which means she’s only 36. Yikes Also, the audio description introduces her as a “middle aged woman.” This was awful 😂😂😂
At this point, I almost feel bad for J Lo....almost, but still a long way to go.
does anyone here watches the reviews BEFORE a movie? I always look for reviews after I watched the movie, to see how other people got annoyexd by the same things I got annoyed by.
This movie was made for that scene where they fall out of space. If it had more of that... Heck yeah! But it had so much crappy dialogue
Nick looks like he’s over this video 😅
JLo is no Sigourney Weaver and sure ain't no Data Analyst. It's like Whalberg being a High School teacher. Of all Peytons film, Rampage is damn good in his and Dwaynes film catalogue. It damn good than the trappings it is in
Grande Americano with an extra shot is a quad and is my drink of choice, it’s pretty good. Unlike this film, it seems.
