Atlantic Ocean Road, Trollstigen and Aursjøvegen: Are these the prettiest roads in Norway?

In this video, Marten and Natalie drive the Atlantic Ocean Road, Trollstigen and Aursjøvegen and wonder: Are these the prettiest roads in Norway? There are so many stunning roads in Norway. We start with the Atlantic Ocean Road, which is a well-known road that sometimes is felt to be overrated. We drove over to the Atlanterhavsveien while the sun sets. A few days later, we drive the hairpins up to the Trollstigen. The view over the 11 hairpins next to the waterfall was stunning. But the day before, we drove the Aursjøvegen, which was even more impressive. Which of these roads would you love to drive?

In my opinion Vestland is the most beautiful fylke of Norway. Of course that depends on person what kind of landscapes one likes the most. You got nice drone footage from the Atlantic Road and were lucky with the weather. I have driven Trollstigen in July which means that the road, the café and the sightseeing platforms were full of people. You had more space for enjoying the views. Aursjøvegen was stunning! Maybe I can drive it one day too!

I am impressed that you found Aursjøvegen. A hidden gem. Absolutely one of the most beautiful roads in Norway. I personally think the road over Valdresflye (mountain) is the most beautiful in Norway, but Aursjøen is in the top 5.

We found a blog that told us about the Aursjøvegen and we are really happy we went. It really was amazing. We will put Valdresflye on our list! Do you know what your top 5 would be?

@@ourcamperstories My top 5: 1. Valdresflye 2. Sognefjell 3. The road between Åndalsnes and Eidsvåg - Road 64 and 660. Little known road. Fantastic road along the fjord. 4. Gaularfjell 5. Aursjøvegen Nothing beats Valdresflye. The right direction is important here. Best to drive from Beitostølen to Vågåmo, and not the other way around. This is how you get the best panoramic view. Especially beautiful when the sun is shining! By the way, from Vågåmo it is a short way to Sognefjell

Thank you Steinar! We've added all of these to our Google Maps list of things to check out next time we go to Norway. And since they are all not toooooo far apart we might be able to do them all when we go back.

I am a marketing strategist who helps creative entrepreneurs, and in this case someone wanted in my group program and I had to do some things to make that happen. I love it when I sell things automatically while on the road, like website templates. And thank you for the link, we've driven between walls of snow like this in Sweden a few years ago, when we were there in June (yeah, it was a cold June :D ). I can't wait to watch the full video.
