We stay at Trop when in AC and like to head to Tony's for a late night meal since they serve food later than most places in Trop. It's also a great change of atmosphere when we want to get away from the casino action for awhile. If you're in Trop you can exit from The Quarter and it's only about a 1 block walk.

I just checked my phone and couldn't believe you went to Tony's Baltimore Grille. That's the place off the boardwalk I go to besides the Irish pub. I love those old school haunts that keep it real, as opposed to the facade of the casinos. Great job showcasing some of these hidden gems off the boardwalk. That place is Tony Soprano approved!

We went there this past weekend late at night after the phish concerts around 2am and the meatballs were fantastic!! So cool to see you make a video there. My girlfriend and I reference your videos every time we stay in AC or Vegas.

This is why I never involve myself in the "Spot the Difference" photographs, because even after being given the timestamp, I still can't see where Clarice is hidden. My brain just doesn't operate properly in that regard.

It's amazing how much lower the prices are at restaurants as soon as you step off the boardwalk! Some iconic restaurants are just a short walk away! The prices for the Happy Hour menu for that place looked very affordable with a good selection of items. I like old school places like that with the comfy booth and and a juke box selection of music. Places like this are becoming rare in NYC and NJ, there use to be a lot of really good diners (many great Greek diners too) but they have been closing down.

I was in A.C on Wednesday and saw you as you left the Broadway on the Boardwalk. We were walking back to Tropicana and called to you but you couldn't hear me. You walk so much faster than I do. Now I know where you turn off at. Great video. We had breakfast yesterday at Gilchrist because of your recommendation. It was very good. Enjoy all your videos.

Glad you made it to Tony's Baltimore grill that and Tony baloney as well as the bagel shop by the Ocean are some of regular "go to" spots when in A/C...which will be in a couple of weeks

Great vlog glad you finally got there and enjoyed it. It's definitely a great happy hour spot. When I was a kid getting taken there was such a big deal. We didn't eat out much so it was a treat. Glad to see the place thriving. I know they also do alot work within the community as well. Don't forget to try Santuccis in Ventnor they make a great sauce on top of the cheese square pie.

I don't know how I missed this one! Good to see you finally got to Tony's! I've been going for over 40 years. The next time you want spaghetti and meatballs I HIGHLY recommend you go back. The pasta and sauce are way better then the pizza, which I like as well.

I've been there a few times. The food is okay but not great. The minestrone tastes like it's from a can, it probably is. Coffee is served in a tiny styrofoam cup.

@@NuYawk hey Jeff, I was just pointing out that the kids found Clarice (and the time stamp). That’s the name we gave the statue on the boardwalk by the hall. Chickie’s & Pete’s is good. The cheesesteaks are sad for a place from Philly. The family prefers the Crab 🦀 (good seasoning) and the crab cake. I’d recommend the surf n turf burger 🍔 with crab fries 🍟 Next trip I want to try Cafe 2825 and/or Bourre. Enjoy your weekend and keep up the great content. It’s nice to see objective reviews of AC & NYC. Don’t forget the windscreen!

I've lived in AC all my life and this food is just okay and I don't see how anyone from New York City can say that this food is fabulous good or awesome or excellent it's low grade Italian fast food

That pizza looked real good Jeff but I'm surprised you couldn't finish it. I love your content. It's cool to see Jeff from Nu Yawk also runs on Dunkin LOL. Do you also like their glazed chocolate cake donuts? Not to be confused with the chocolate frosted ones with sprinkles. This is the one that's all chocolate and has more of a cake like texture.

Strange question, Jeff. Do most of your rooms come with refrigerators (in case you wanted to bring back your Tony's Baltimore Grill pizza back). Do you request the refrigerators

Years ago, we had a reservation at Resorts in AC and we requested a refrigerator. "If we have one available" was their response. We arrived, checked-in, and they didn't have one available. My roommate felt they hadn't tried, and asked they we checkout immediately. They said 'fine & we'll reimburse you in cash your payment on the room." I took the small soap, the moisturizers, the coffee, the cups, and went downstairs to the lobby & waited. The manager said "sure, we'll reimburse you in cash, but we need to make sure nothing's been taken in the room. You understand?" We waited. I lost 4 pounds. They came back and send we're all clear. We left Resorts & found a dump on Pacific that had a refrigerator. My roommate liked the beer cold.

Not a strange question at all! I've stayed everywhere in Atlantic City (at least places with casinos), and they all have refrigerators. A hack I've tought most people on this channel is to take along an insulated bag, the kind you buy at a supermarket. Fill it with a lot of ice from the ice machine on your floor and voila, instant refrigerator for a day or two (when it melts simply replace the ice if you're staying longer). Its great for bringing home wet clothes like a bathing suit as well! Just keep it in the shower incase it leaks. Another hack of mine is always ask for leftovers to be wrapped in foil. Here is where you put that iron to use in your room that nobody uses! Simply warm up your foil wrapped leftovers using the iron. Do this on the ironing board or on a hard surface like the bathroom countertop (assuming its heat resistant like the ironing board). Presto! You now have a refrigerator and stove! Just don't mention my name when management asks!

I haven't been to all the pizza places in town (yet), but if I'm on the boardwalk, I like Steel Pier Pizza, It's a little trailer right in front of the Steel Pier entrance. It's not a sit down place, more of a grab a slice and go. Tony Baloney's is a little off the boardwalk by Ocean Casino Resort. I'm actually going next week to AC and staying 4 nights at the Claridge and 4 nights at the Show boat? Any words of advice on either one because I have never stayed at either one?

The Claridge is an older building rich in history! It's also connected to Bally's, Wild Wild West and Caesars via a series of hallways if you don't want to go outside. I stayed there last Winter and had a very comfortable stay. I haven't stayed at the Showboat in years so I really can't tell you what the rooms are like. Both hotels have no casinos or fancy restaurants but of course both are surrounded by hotels that do! Have a great time Zaivi and thanks for watching and subscribing!
