Atlanta...when are you going to get rid of your garbage manager? You will never compete for trophies with this guy. He doesn't have it. His ceiling is mid table and if you had an average MLS roster you'd be bottom table. Go get a better manager, someone that actually knows what he's doing.

I was at this game, and as an Atlanta United fan, I was very disappointed. First off, why is the defense giving Benteke three free headers? first header, Wiley losses his man and Benteke scores. second header, Lennon completely misses the ball and Benteke. and third one his marker doesn’t challenge him for the ball and he just scores like he’s in training. defense aside, the attack was equally bad. Almada and Saba were two of our best players today but they couldn’t do anything great as the game went on. they had great flair and technique but Giakoumakis couldn’t finish any of those chances. like I remember one ball from Saba i think where he did an excellent turn and could’ve taken shot but instead laid it off to Giakoumakis and he missed the target but like at least a feet. and Mosquera was terrible as well. i like that he likes to run at the defense, but if you can’t get the ball into a good position in the box, then there’s no point. i remember that some player made an overlapping run but he ignored him, cut into the box and got the ball stolen from him. if he laid it off to the overlapping runner, we could’ve had a better cross into the box and maybe something would come from it. honestly, the attack got so much better after Xande Silva came on. i thought him and Almada were playing very well and they should’ve combined and scored at least one goal(especially during that free kick situation). if he was brought on earlier, i feel like the outcome of this game would be better. but that’s just my take. I also didn’t have the best view of the field so I might be wrong in some of things I said. but overall, I’m unsatisfied with the way Atlanta played. from a model franchise to a dumpster fire in 5 years. unbelievable. TLDR: Atlanta is just so bad rn 😭

I'm an ATL UTD fan in the UK. The manager/coach is clueless, I so wanted to like him but he's doing nothing constructive with a decent bunch of players. It's just possession football, no end result, defence non existent and rinse and repeat at home where we go all out attack and week upon week get beat or draw to the counter attack. Pissed off doesn't come close right now. Another frustrating season ahead as nothing will change unfortunately unless we change management.

I've been very supportive of Gonzalo Pineda but my patience has worn thin. I need to see a dramatic improvement in this squad or I'm afraid I'll have to join others in calling for a change in leadership of this club.

The last games for Atlanta show what everyone has been saying for so long. Defense is atrocious and Guzan is 2-3 years passed his retirement date.
