When Grayson Horne plays 2nd bass in the Cavaliers and plays 4 in AQ you know they are a sick bass line.

Can confirm BAQ are all monsters. Playing 4 is not an indictment tho. Grayson would kill it on any drum they put him on at quest

@@jmerriam27 Of course not. As a bass drummer myself (playing big drums) I totally get it. In fact, depending on the writing playing 4 can be harder than 2 since it's a bigger drum that requires more work to make good sounds. Bass lines that can get beasts to play the bigger drums get my total respect.

Not to brag but he graduated from my high school 🤭! I lean more towards snare, but me and my bass friend in drumline lookup to him so much! Hope to be like him one day! Quest is the quest!!!
I didn't use ear plugs throughout my marching career. I'm 34 and the tinnitus gets worse each year now. If you are young please take care of your ears!

Haha for sure! My hearing and knees both wish I had used more precaution back then.
I agree: snares by themselves and tenors by themselves are great but definitely need to clean up the balance issues! The basses are killing it!
That flam stuff at 5:19 is the Phoenix lick. They did in 13 which was the Phoenix show, then in 18, now in 24. It’s a really fun in the hands
Marching cymbals don’t get enough love man. The cymbals are very good with the flashy visuals but other than their feature, they don’t play a whole lot. Need more cymbal crashes!!!
5:09 happy to hear some love for the Phoenix lick!
Can confirm the diminuendo comment was AK - Cadets 03. Also, thanks for the love boys. See y’all at Finals.
I approve of tick-calling and if you don’t, toughen up a bit.

My man.
It's completely surreal that kids are now trying to look like 1988 minor league relief pitchers

Hahahahahaha Colin Farrell Miami Vice Mustache! They need to get the Fu Manchu and Handlebar stashes going!😁😎🤘🏻
I think going on about clarity and balance is great. I think with groups of this tier it helps those with unseasoned ears identify positive moments and moments that have issues. I think it’s a great training moment.

I was born and raised in Lexington, so Kentucky is my team. -Evan Mike lives and Louisville. Anyone but Duke, lol.
I think they're wearing sambas, from the big ass tongue
What do you mean by “grass” at the beginning of the video?

The literal grass, lol. TJ, the battery coordinator, always loves to rate the grass when we have him on as a guest. It’s his brand. Hahaha
