Thank you for taking us along for your first blade show. Great finds. Hopefully I can catch it next year. This weekend we celebrated my grandmother’s 95th birthday. I was in garage going through my late grandfather’s tools (he passed in 2020) and I came across a Queen folding pruning knife. She said I could take it. Its a tang stamp dates it 1925-1932. Really good condition. Just needs a little spa treatment.

That was a nice trip, nice seeing the old stuff, that’s why I go to a good many shows within driving distance. I carry a Hogue Deka everyday and like it better than the big boys I have. Thanks for sharing, been awhile since I been to Blade show. Thanks for sharing.

Yeah…I may never be a collector then. LOL. I’m not that into huge fixed blades especially ones I’ll never use and paying that amount of money on. I like collecting working knives.

Ooooh, I too would be kicking myself for not picking up that little queen. You should check out houge knives, doc. They’re base out here in CA near me. They originally started out making grips, later firearm accessories. I believe they only have a few years making knives but they’re coming up in the game with good quality USA 🇺🇸 Knives

Hey Kev go to the Emerson booth and get you an Emerson QC-7 trust me your going to want it it's the knife that started the tactical knife craze in 1994! First one was made from Benchmade! Emerson knives!!

Hogue are some of the best quality most affordable knives made in the USA when compared to Spyderco and Benchmade. They are supposed to have the best most keen consistent edges out of all the knife companies. Houge makes Sig knives, from all the reviews I've seen on Houge knives I would recommend the Houge Dekka which I think is their best selling knife. Great video Kevin,

Elishowitz name on the Hogue knife is a custom knife builder I suspect he designed that for them my boss I haul a couple of his custom knifes they run in the 600-1000 range

I think it’s the psychological idea of picking up and handling it and wanting it, part sales tactic and also a lot of people will just pass up the table without checking knives closer.. you know the feel of the knife , the balance.

He is in the hospital today they tried to draw fluid from his lung and mostly blood came out. They have moved him into Intenvice Care Unit. He is not doing well. I guarantee Case hasn't grown their quality control department to keep up with production growth. Case has given us the job as quality control but we keep accepting poor quality. We need to always send it back when it's not right.
