Athens Greece Vlog 2021 - Arriving in Athens Airport. Visiting Athens to see The Acropolis during Coronavirus. Arrived from Samos and headed to Athens city centre. My Athens Greece Vlog 2021 starts at the Eridanus Athenaeun Hotels with amazing views of The Acropolis from the rooftop bar in Athens. I got a bus from Athens International airport for 5.50 Euros and then headed into centre in a taxi and a colourful cab driver in Athens.
After i'd seen the view from the Eradinus Hotel Athens and seen the amazing Acropolis i headed off to the nearest Mcdonalds. This was just up the high street and on Syntagma Square where i sat and ate and took in Athens lively streets. I bumped into some amazing street performers along the streets of Athens and show some in this Athens Greece vlog 2021.
Walking down the Ermou Street in Athens up to Syntagma Square you will find all your normal shopping outlets and plenty to eat and some fantastic singers and performers. Ermou street is a commercial avenue, It is the primary clothing shopping street for Athens and contains many of the big international names like Benneton, Marks & Spencer, H&M, Zara, Berksha, Sepura, and a bunch of other stores that you have probably heard of but mean nothing to me. The Greek department store, Fokas, is near the top of Ermou in a beautiful old neo-classic building that looks like it would be more suitable housing a museum and is worth a visit, even if you are not buying anything, so you can see what a Greek department store is like. The Hondos Center is also of interest, especially for women, since you may not have experienced anything like it before.
