ATHENS: Changing of the Guard - Greek Parliament/Tomb of the Unknown Soldier.
The Tomb of the Unknown Soldier (Greek: Μνημείο του Αγνώστου Στρατιώτη) is a war memorial located in Syntagma Square in Athens, in front of the Old Royal Palace. It is a cenotaph dedicated to the Greek soldiers killed during war. It was sculpted between 1930-32 by sculptor Fokion Rok.
The tomb is guarded by the Evzones of the Presidential Guard.

Saw these guys coming the opposite direction on the sidewalk, they popped up out of nowhere. They were huge!!! Like NFL lineman huge! Western Civilization was defended by the likes of them. They are VERY IMPRESSIVE in person.

You were in the army how dare you disrespect them. Those clown boots you're taking about weigh 3kg each and when we fought the turks we hid knives in them so we can stab them. The uniform is 15 kg and the gun is 7kg plus the boots that's 28kg in total which is 61 pounds. If you wanna disrespect them try Standing still for 3 hours straight without moving a muscle and i mean not even blinking, wearing that uniform. You would collapse in the first 20 minutes.
I can't get over how ridiculous this looks. 😂
