It's surprising to see how some people experience difficulty and misery, so much more than others! For your friend, he must have a medal of honor for not committing suicide! There are so many questions about this life on earth that have no answers...
It's strong to be a bystander and become a believer. Honour to this guy. Life is intended for experiencing difficulties, making mistake and learning. That makes the souls grow a high spirit told me.
