Yes! I am building a 20x30 studio space that will have a room dedicated to lasers.
With the open bottom I think you are supposed to place the laser and then drop the enclosure over it, it looked really awkward the other way around lol! Nice tool to work with, I can't wait to see what you do with it next...

This one is nice. Once the studio space is built I will be making things out there with these lasers.
We bought just about every option for L2 36w unit but the extension and hood....Were not very happy so far, one of the X rods were not mounted in its socket and would not fit even with the screw out of the socket, had to be hammered in. The unit was scratched up, when I contacted support they said...oh sorry. We paid $1600 for this unit and it seems to have software issues and it will not autofocus and tech support is useless....I really regret buying this unit.
Cool toy, but I need one that will cut .125 in. stainless steel. Only obstacle is a shortage of $$$$$$$$$😆

.Those metal cutting lasers are quite expensive.
