ATEEZ is my ULT group. They are ALWAYS 🔥 and always true to themselves. They have a very fascinating and somewhat complex storyline that began with their debut and continues to this day. Pretty much EVERY one of their songs & their MV's is connected to their lore/storyline in one way or another (even if it's just in the lyrics and/or hidden Easter eggs in the MV's). Even their Kingdom performances were connected to their lore. And ATEEZ can master ANY genre or style of music. That's because all the members and their production team have very eclectic taste in music and just love ALL music and instrumentation. They love to experiment and combine various sounds & styles and they are all very inspired by a plethora of movies, books, animes & various music from different generations, too. If you check out even more of their B-sides of all their albums - your jaw will be on the floor with their vocal ability, depth, range, power, emotional pull, swag & how genuine and open minded they are while always maintaining their unique ATEEZ sound. ATEEZ is truly passionate about what they do and about conveying the emotions of a song with every ounce of their body and soul. They are master storytellers. They are performance BEASTS. And they are some of the most talented young men on the planet! Most importantly, they always remain sweet, humble and down to earth, but are hilarious and silly, too.

Agreed 100%....ATEEZ is my ult group too...I love all their discographies...What attracted me to them the most is their characters.😊❤

They also included anime references (Cowboy Bebop or Akira). And the post cookies usually tease a future comeback. (This album is really cohesive & interesting sonically. Truly doing it like no other. They said in an interview recently that they won't make change their sound to be more popular or mainstream. So big on staying true to who they are.)

Wanted is the name of the movie with Angelina. Yeah, this comeback is crazy.

Hey Higher Facility, I can't get over ATEEZ because their voice is unbelievable! I can't get over how K Hot Chilli's voice sounds like the voice of a parrot. I might learn this dance choreography because that song is fantastic! This MV is all over the place, but the sets are amazing! I love all the ATTEZ songs because they have made amazing music over the years! I love seeing all of your reactions on your channel! The first ATTEZ song you listened to was Pirate King!

Ateez has a lore / storyline in their songs , once I understand that they music video will make sense

Wanted is the Angelina Jolie movie you're thinking of - and absolutely. Also Dusk til Dawn with the initial opening shot. I think another callback to Equilibrium. Cowboy Bebop and Akira, Attack on Titan, a few kdramas. Favorite Ateez song? Impossible choice. Depends on mood. But Don't Stop, Horizon, Cyberpunk, and (off this album) Wake Up are definitely at the top.

I have been ATINY since they were KQ FELLAS, and i fell in love with their dance performance video and show. When they debuted, i became ATINY for life. One of my favorite songs from them is a BSide called "Promise." And then pick any song out of all their albums and im good. ATEEZ is a different kind of group and i am so proud of their achievements and finally getting the recognition they deserve, starting with hitting number 1 in the U.K. and number 2 on Billboard. This is just the beginning of their time to shine.

Favorite Ateez MV is Halazia, but favorite choreo is Hala Hala. I also remember you reacting to Hala Hala and really enjoyed that. Thanks for your reaction.

Ateez is that band who will slap you in the face everytime you watch them. Doesn't matter if you listen after a long time, the feeling is the same! I agree with you, they have their own flavour. They're so unique, not only in their dance and music, but their flair, their style, their expression and performances. Everything was so good. I'll tell you, my favourite era of them was their pirate era because (well, I love pirates) but they're so cool!!! My favourite songs have to be 'Mist', 'Illusion', 'Say My Name', the entire new album! For now these are my top songs! Also, I used to play most games back then with music. Dubstep is lit. I remember playing GTA and CoD with music. It got my blood pumping so hard!!! Such fun! As always, I love your reaction videos and your opinions. You're original and so true! Your HALA HALA reaction was my favourite, but man I can't choose. I have re-watched a lot of your videos.

My favorite Ateez reaction of yours is probably "Mist" and my favorite Ateez songs right now are definitely "Bouncy" and "Halazia". And yes, they released and album with Bouncy; 'Dune' and 'Wake up' are my favorite b-sides.

All the b-side on this album goes hard. Besides Bouncy be in my first favorite then comes Dune, Outlaw, Wake Up, This World, and then Django.

Ending was a spoiler for their next project, they usually do this in their music videos or b-side.

As folks have said this is off "The World: Ep 2 Outlaw" album. The whole album is straight fire. My faves on the album are Wake Up and Dune. A lot of people are hype about Django. The vocals slay and throughout the production is intricate and mysterious.

Omg lol! Ode to Joy/Answer was my fave too. Not just because I’ve performed it but because of how they staged it and because Answer has never been dethroned for me. I don’t think it could. Its just one of those situations where you can’t rate who performed best but just boils down to favourites. Though if I was to pick one thing that stood out to me I was kinda struggling to see how Jong ho’s run of belts fit in with what they had going on…with classical singers & Bethovens 9th setting the tone & all but it held your attention in any case. And I was amused to learn that among those judges were my favourite choreographer in Kpop (Leah Kim) and one that I’ve actually met & watched perform live (Jun from ACE). But this song tho….would someone PLEEEEEASE post a lyric video with the parrot on it lol 😂

Hi I was waiting for you guys to do this. ATEEZ is my ult and I recall the first reaction I watched was Hala Hala, but I went back and looked at your other ones, then followed you guys journey with ATEEZ since. I remember when you guys used to have your DJ friend on and he'd play ATEEZ in his mixes. Really cool. Picking a favorite ATEEZ song is like picking a favorite child. No lie. But if you forced me to pick a fave, it would be Wonderland because its the 1st one I heard from them. The song, the vibes, fits, video, everything about it is top tier. You guys should really do an album reaction. Outlaw is AMAZING! All 6 tracks are tied to their storyline but even if you're not into the lore, you can still enjoy the harmonies, vocals, the musicality, just its so amazing. The World MOVEMENT album, the last one with Guerrilla, is still my personal favorite, but this one is so close. They one up themselves each time. Pls, pls pls, do an album review! I want to hear more ppl with musical backgrounds talk about the sheer brilliance of that piece! Thanks for this reaction. I really like your work. A couple of things: Somebody is moving the cursor around? And then suddenly stopping the vid. It is distracting imo. I want to encourage you to not stop vids to comment on random things unrelated to a MV you are reacting to. I appreciate that you have stories to share; maybe wait till you've watched an MV one time through THEN go back and rewatch it when you can stop all you want. I don't know about other groups but I absolutely know that KQ does requests strikes for people who are sincerely reacting to their artists work. You don't have to stop in the middle of of a MV if you're worried about a strike. It will neve happen. Just play the vid all the way through. I know you've watched at least two intro vids to Ateez. You really can learn all their names and a bit of their story. 😀The MVs will be even more meaningful to you. Every Atiny can tell you that they went through their own challenges with memorizing each member's name and what they look like. I first became an Atiny while Mingi was away. I thought there were just 7 members. Then I'd see this very distinct face with one of the deepest voices I'd heard and kept wondering who is this?? You can do it! I know you're trying to cover the waterfront with groups. Maybe zero in on a handful of groups to focus on? Learn some of their backstory (not talking about lore) and memorize who each member is. The many fandoms of these remarkable groups will enjoy and support your reactions so much more. (We can tell when you have no idea who members are.) It is ok to say that BTW. We've all been there. One final Encouragement: you reacted to a MV about Ateez called "A Guide to Stanning Ateez". (I watched ALL of your Ateez stuff just today so that's how I remember it) At one point the person who created the intro to Ateez said: they are very affectionate with each other. What you did next was spend about two minutes declaring how you'd NEVER kiss your friends and how weird you thought that was. What you DIDN'T do was to read the very, very, clear msg on the screen from the mv that NO ONE should sexualize this group's behavior or read anything into it. I know you didn't read it because it took me about three minutes to rewind and to get through it and you moved past it in a heart beat. In everyone of the fandom's you are reacting to there are people who can explain the cultural meanings of songs and behavior. They will more than happily put it in context for you. You can also ask them in advance of reacting to a MV where that song stands in their catalogue and tell you about any Korean cultural references in you might see or hear without you "cheating" and watching the MV in advance. I can't tell you how many people have helped me to achieve a more nuanced appreciation for K-Pop and the many brilliant artists to be found there. Short of that there are many great websites that can give you the basics of a group you are interested in. Thanks again for reaction to Ateez!
