You should react to Ateez dance practices: Inception Hala Hala Say My Name (and then the 2x faster version because they killed that too). Wave Also, you should watch the Kingdom stages and the behind the scenes-especially for their Wave and Wonderland stages (it is so interesting to see them in professional idol mode and you get a glimpse into how they practice).

it's so interesting to me how a LOT of people don't wanna classify ateez as 4th gen because of how good they are. we have fandoms attacking us left and right, fighting for the title of "4th gen leaders" and while ateez definitely deserves that title, it's so heartwarming and such a big ego boost to see ateez be recognized beyond that. they're being praised as being on a similar level to their seniors and my atiny heart couldnt be any happier 🥺 thank you so much for continuously reacting and loving ateez! seeing your love grow for the only kpop group i've fallen for makes me so happy 🤍

That or they simply attack Ateez-I swear go read some of the Jongho comments. Yeosang-who is as sweet as can be-has been attacked too. It’s like groups can’t just say “They are good but I love X more” they have to tear down Ateez in the process. I totally get that Ateez may not be everyone’s up of tea, but their work as artists-especially as performers-should be acknowledged.

@@emmylia oh yes during Kingdom San got attacked for his dance and facial expressions especially the Rhythm Ta stage. I think he is a born performer-he had to learn a lot (he came to KQ without training in any area) and he worked really hard (according to the members).

@@kimdaniel2601 Exactly, I agree 100%. He just has that natural star quality about him and people can’t comprehend that so they just hate on him (like I said, they probably feel threatened). He worked super hard to be at the level he is now and it makes me so sad seeing him get hate for it, he really doesn’t deserve that :/ It’s crazy how idols get crap just because they’re good at their job.

THANK YOU .....I have been saying this same thing for 3 yrs now....ATEEZ is on their own lvl in 4th gen a lvl no one has touched. I am a multi and have lost friends that are fans souly of one group because I always put ATEEZ as the best "4th gen " performers, and artists and stand by it without hesitation or apology.

I agree. Ateez just isn’t like anyone else and when it comes to performance they are in their own category. I think the fact that Psy, Rain, Kim Jungkook, Eric Nam etc have all praised them is a huge acknowledgment that they are that good.

@@kimdaniel2601...I love that on the BLACK CAT NERO MV when KIM JUNGKOOK (The feature and original singer of said song) asked ATEEZ how long they have been together (because he was surprised how good they were)... They were like, "2 years!" (I know more years because they were KQ FELLAS and did dance covers first, but officially as ATEEZ)...and KIM JUNKOOK was basically like, "OH THAT'S CUTE!" 🤣🥰😋... Cause kims brain and eyes right after he said that were like, "WELL, I'VE BEEN HERE SINCE FOREVER! SOOO 🤷 😎 🤷‍♀️"... KIM is sweet though for liking Ateezs version of THE BLACK CAT NERO sooo much on IMMORTAL SONGS that he decided to feature!... I'm putting more info in case JA sees this and wants to know more back-story and react to THE BLACK CAT NERO or KQ FELLAS! 😎

Even Jongho kills it when he isn’t singing. When they do dance covers only his skills are mad.

When you watch Ateez dance practices you should watch them 9 times (once for full effect then once to focus on each member-they are in sync but they also exude an individual character). Also, you must appreciate Jongho who steps out does his high note thing then steps right back into formation and picks up the choreography as if he had always been there. Jongho doesn’t get much praise for his dancing but he truly is a very good dancer.

Agree.jongho praised for his vocals and hongjoong praised for his charisma on stage.facial expressions and as a best leader but honestly both of them are good dancers 100%.Hongjoong's body n head movements d bestfor me.

I think the Ateez advantage is from day one instead of focusing on uniformity they encourage each member to create a character and be that character. You can really see this in their live stages and music videos-down to tiny details (like Yeosang pretending to chew gum and spit it out in the Rocky MV). They care more about stage character than being perfectly uniform. You can see this in their KQfellaz dance covers up to their most recent videos (Don’t Stop, The Real, and Rocky). There is a content creator who does “what you missed in . . . Dance practice” she/he calls them “earthquake Ateez” during the hard parts. I often wonder whose office is below them and what they think during their dance practices. Also, if you’re doing dance practices you should do Horizon. You will want to see it in a stage but this dance is amazing and I adore the song.

i think the difference between ateez and 4th gen as a whole is ateez has their own color. they are obviously identifiable in the mass of 4th gen groups. they are standard setters and trend setters. we see these newer 4th gen groups constantly talking about how the members of ateez are their role models and inspiration. i’m so happy you discovered atz, welcome to the fandom ja

I agree. Not just in their music but their vocal color is unique. Nobody sounds like Hongjoong, Mingi or Jongho-their voices are very distinctive. Everyone else has a distinct vocal color but not to the extent the ones I mentioned do. I will say in the Kingdom Wolf cover I didn’t realize they had the dance group sing the cover until I heard what sounded like Wooyoung’s voice so if you know them you can recognize the rest too.

One thing I love about Ateez’s choreo is how they do formation changes. Where many choreos have the members step forwards/backwards/sidewards/howeverwards to do the changes, Ateez *spins*. Or they incorporate it into dance moves, it’s rarely ”just” walking. Like at 6.23 during thanxx, first the ”dance step” to move Yunho forwards, then they spin twice and shift members with each spin to leave Hongjoong center and Yunho in the back edge. Another travel move I personally love a LOT is in Fireworks. I think it’s the chorus, and it’s Wooyoung especially (guess my bias lol). He kicks his legs forwards but travels backwards, and a good distance at that. There’s something about that move my brain finds so satisfying. Back to thanxx, one thing I noticed here is how Seonghwa takes off his bucket hat to do his neck breaking move then puts it back on. That was stupidly endearing to me (guess my bias part 2) 😂

god the camera was vibrating so much and the sounds were so clear in my earphones that i had to keep checking my room door bc i thought my mom was coming up to hit me w the sandal for watching kpop past curfew and not studying. Dayum besties 😭😭😭😭

Ateez really proves how passionate they are all of their dance practices seems like they are performing in an actual stage!!!! Their choreography and footworks are insane 🥵

There's no way to watch their dance practices without being impressed; it's emotionally impossible. Wonderland's camera was really the hero of that dance practice. Good on it for staying upright! As others have recommended, all of their Kingdom performances were fire, and I especially recommend the Wonderland one because, well, lots of reasons including Seonghwa's costume. I'd also recommend Horizon dance practice because it's a b-side track and you haven't seen the video for it, and Pooh. Also recommend the practice for Wave because it's so much good fun. Oh, and every relay dance ever. Glad you're continuing your ATINY joy and love, and that you're taking us along with you. Thank you!
