Have you heard both the 50's and the 40's? And if so, was it a big difference?

I have both speakers. The 50s have more scale and authority due to the larger bass driver and more dynamic amps. Mids and treble are pretty much identical apart from what the amps offer. The 40A are the best speakers anyone can buy for the money, the 50s are double the price for probably 25% gain but worth it if you love your audio.

The difference is about 10
