The shot of them hopping away from the camera at 0:36 is the cutest and most badass thing I've ever seen in a music video.

Japanese song lyrics can be a bit "florid" and poetic sometimes and then they get translated and so sometimes they appear deeper than they really are, but AG do take on intense subjects in a j-pop format. A common theme is teenage angst and having the courage of your own convictions and being true to yourself which are not traditional Japanese sentiments. In that they are pretty radical. However, after completing a recent N.American tour they have commented on how much they value Japan and it's traditions, and their recent release "Toryanse" expresses that. They are going to grow as artists and they are one of the few groups that I'm actively excited to see what they do in the future. I encourage you to look at these live performances. Of all the AG! songs I've listened to so far, I really like this the best. It has that perfect balance of chaotic energy and subtle grace that AG! are known for. Plus it's a great homage to the Beastie Boys.

The girls are 22 years old, the oldest is 25 years old. And they already have their own concert at Coachella. They create their own choreography (breaking templates and traditions), moreover, they choreograph for other groups. And on top of that, great voices

AG! is one of the greatest groups I've had the pleasure of seeing live. They are right up there with HANABIE. and BABYMETAL in my opinion. Completely blew me away!

Echoing @cuttysark8017, the lyrics here are deliberately over the top, a good natured parody of whatever genre this is. The lyrics, like the music, was written by Kenta Matsukuma, a prolific producer. It was music for a TV comedy/drama about some rich private school girls who break school rules and get into competitive video gaming. Part of the fun is that they filmed the music video in a picturesque seaside town, instead of a gritty urban setting - one of a few little nods to their heroes, The Beastie Boys’, “So What’cha Want.” One thing you nailed for sure - they are loads of fun, and even when they are joking, they are 100% serious.
