Atalaya - The History Of The Watchtower

Фильм және анимация

This is a short documentary that I have been working on for the past two years. This documentary centers around the Huntingtons and their castle on the beach called, Atalaya or Watchtower. The Huntington's were well known wealthy artists in the early 1900's and due to Anna Hyatt Huntington having tuberculosis they chose to move to South Carolina for the winter to avoid the cold weather of the North. The building of Atalaya began in 1931 and so the story begins for the Huntington's. Join me as I journey into the castle and uncover the true story of the Huntington's, their home and how they have impacted America through their art.

My husband and I had the honor of being married in this incredible piece of our state’s history. Spectacular setting. Great documentary, thank you for giving this place the loving attention it deserves.
