Atago always my prime favourtite being uptier or not, the elegance of her power is such thing that makes her unique. O7 Robin, any wows content is always a pleasure to watch

Back to back Robin makes my day, love this ship and love this content!

Big Sis is always reliable and what a nice middle push on the map! She is great a ship that easily adapts to different situations. The torpedo layout is what I love most about the Atago. And yeah Ryujou has too little armour, 25mm bow and stern exposed citadel and the middle is only 19mm behind thin torpedo protection. Meanwhile best doggo needs 34mm of armour to even arm her AP... A case of no armour = best armour.

My second premium ship and the first one I really got back into after an almost four year hiatus. Still feels comfortable, still feels like home. She is an absolute monster when she gets downtiered - she always was. I love this ship.

Hey, thanks for the kind works, I'm glad you like the content. As software, I use Adobe Premiere Pro for editing, and Adobe After Effects for the intro effects. Otherwise I record everything in-game using OBS, or in that case via replay system + OBS :)

I'm going to get her soon! I stopped playing back in around 2020 due to my computer breaking. I lost my old account, I had rare ships like Graf Spee and Odin. I never spent money on the game execpt to finish the dockyard to get the Odin. I wanted to return so badly because of all the dockyard ships, but I couldn't. Now I have all the premium ships I wanted (the historical ones like Warspite) and now Im planning to get the Atago!

The 9.2km detection range is damn nice. with it's 10km torps its great for kiting on a flank flooding the area with torps while stealth

Atago is and always be a legend.

I recently bought the Atago after quite a bit of experience with tech tree IJN cruisers, and I'm really satisfied with it. It's basically a downtiered Ibuki with better torpedoes but less gun range. The heal is perhaps its biggest asset, allowing me to play much more aggressively than I would in the Myōkō or Mogami. The 16 second reload is quite bad, though, but it's also Atago's only real weakness.

Go for it! Possibly one of the best "first premium" in the game. She's powerful, fast, stealthy with enough armor to promote good angling and a lot of tools to learn how to play any types of cruisers decently.

Both ships are really strong. Mainz focuses much more on gun DPM, burning down other ships and occasionally brawling when she has the advantage. But Mainz is much slower, has a bigger profile, has less concealment and doesn't have access to a heal nor does she has long range torpedoes. Atago would arguably have more armor, speed, concealment, torpedo power and well, a larger caliber albeit with less range and longer reload.

Atago is my favorite ship in the game next to Jean Bart. She's always a joy to sail out.

I have ARP Takao, which appears to be essentially the same ship. I run Mogami as Mogami Lite, with the 155mm main battery, which I think works better than the actual tech tree Japanese light cruisers. Two choices, both work well as long as you can avoid battleship salvos and high tier gimmick boats.

WoWL CM but mostly plays on PC thats just awesome
