I like to hunt destroyers with my Bismarck:). Love to see them shit themselves with my hydro, secondaries and actually aiming for them with main battery (something a lot of battleships don't seem to do). The Freddie and currywurst really lack in maneouverability to dodge torps so not as good i think. Only battleship in which i sometimes actively seek out DD's

i think that slowing down when they were all targeting u, might have saved u... i usually do that when they dont expect it, just as they are going to shoot u. it saved my ass even in BBs when i had to turn away (with some distance between me and the enemy to max its effect)

the armor section pretty much sums up the majority of my experience with the IJN cruiser line. they are funt o use when you arent being shot at, but as soon as you become a target (most of the time) it gets painful VERY quick

The armor it seems on Myoko, Atago, and Mogami are extremely broken due to the fact that they basically have exposed citadells and the game engine constantly gives me citadells thru the tail even though there isn't a citadel until the #5 gun. We just need a engine update since they havent updated it since what beta?

It's not the engine per se, it's the way citadels work in the game itself. In real life ships fought at much farther distances than in game (everything's compressed in the game so 10km in-game is actually more like 4-6km), but WG didn't change the armour penetration values of the guns, so we get guns that can penetrate more because it's all closer together.

I actually think that the myoko and atago have broken citadels because ive been citadelled thru the rudder from a broadside and the citadel doesnt even begin until near the #4 gun

Actually, it is the matter of penetration and not where your citadel located at. If the shot penetrated from the rudder and managed to 'touch' your citadel, sayonara ;D So yes with that armor, most cruisers could be citadelled whether through stern or bow

Could be both, mod could add all klein field hit effect to all ships in game. If there was no mod used, ARP ships still have the effect

Have not played a game in my Atago for ages really should jump in it for old time sake. lol I've been playing my Zao mainly it's basically what the Atago would be at T10, concealment rating on mine with capt perk and mod is I think 9.8 there about's can stealth fire just like the Atago but with a much bigger buffer so less chance of being spotted. Better AA, Guns are far more evil and the torps well sure they lack the front fire arc like the Atago but they are the most deadly torps in the game.

My best Atago match: Only ship defending/capping A. Enemy force in the vicinity was a Montana and Fredrick de Gobse. Both enemy ships sunk, and I capped A. 9k exp, easy.

No cruiser's HE can pen Khaba's OP 50mm belt armour except Tier 10 French CA with IFHE. But then the Khaba is OP as fuck since in real life the engineers when told to build it (50mm belt, 45kt speed, 4x2 130mm guns, 2x5 21in torpedoes, and keep weight to minimum) the engineers laughed at them and said piss off it can't be done. WG then decided that it was perfectly fine to put in the game as-is.

Its under settings,i have kancolle voice modifications but i think it changes like if you play alot with japanese ships you get kancolle voices,i actually don't know how it works but i got japanese voices Where too look:settings->audio-> voice modifications

Mammoth Mk3 Atago can tank quite well vs BBs like Shanhorst Tirpitz or even Iowa but from Yamato no one can save your ass But you need angle to an extreme not like the guy here who just wanted to shot all guns. With only 4 you can do damage while tanking and then when they shit back and are in reload you open and shot

The number of time i got cit from the front by another cruiser is alarming... And while some cruisers can bounce BB shells at an angle, just showing a bit of the side mean citadel in this damn thing.
