Word of advice (of which you don't have to follow cause im sure that diving is literally your job and you went to class for it) but don't end the dive with flat feet as it can produce more splash and could damage the cartilage in your ankles possibly leading to a malformed ankle or even sprains

It’s genuinely not that bad though… There’s a 16m-ish cliff close to my house and jumping off of it into the water is not nearly as scary as you think. Once you’ve done it once it becomes light work

From that height... You fall in a higher speed so its like jumping into concrete. Imagine if you jump from just 1 meter, into the floor with your feet. Then imagine jumping with your toes. It would hurt a lot

Lately,some cliffs around 12 meters, i could probably jump from 20,but would do it in the pool,where i know how the bottom looks like,and not on the sea bed. I also jump with flat feet,and i have shoe size 46,so that makes a nice tunnel :)

​@@tzofiakoch2209it might be because your feet aren't perfectly straight when pointing down, but rather have an angle, which causes the water to defletc to the back, pushing your feet forwards, making you spin, if that makes any sense.
