are there any bands out there that offer this amount of energy, creativity and badassery in the rock world like ATDI?

if you're still looking i suggest checking out bands like sunny day real estate, the world is a beautiful place, fugazi, the get up kids, mineral, texas is the reason, the appleseed cast is probably the closest as far as the genre-bending creative aspect of ATDI, cap'n jazz, brave little abacus. not all of these bands sound exactly like atdi but if you're looking for the fast paced punk of their first album then the first couple of AFI albums are worth listening to.

it sucks that you go to see a good band and they sound great, but the crowd sucks. Shows are what they because it is a give and take relationship. I've seen bands want to quit playing because of the boring crowd reaction. My final point, don't just pay the cover, buy some merch, and then expect that to be enough. Show some god damn love people!
