The French Government (and French nation) should be extremely grateful that Timothy restored this chateau with such care, taste and refinement…thereby honouring its heritage. What a visual treat. The words that spring to mind are: exquisite, sublime, incomparable. Viewing this You Tube clip from afar (Australia) has truly made my day.

It's incredibly overwhelming & with its sheer size seems you'd feel all the more lonely thus desiring a shared experience. Truly, what good is this place if not shared? Spread the love. Now I just want to know wth kind of design he's been doing to afford this massive project & the current upkeep!

Restoring is simple. Just patch and clean. But what I truly admire is the way Tim has put everything together with such articulation for compatibility of things. And the garden is to die for. An eye opener for me. Thank you for your hospitality.

Still binge watching.... You are the most kind professional guest - lol. I love the Loire Valley. My sister lived there for 13 years before she moved to Paris. I also love Paris, but the country is my favorite. The castles, the chateau's the wineries, the shopping. Time to book another trip!

I swear I saw this place in a Tilda Swinton movie. He should host artists retreats and employ a gardener for the empty greenhouse. It looks so comfortable and he seems to be a welcoming host. Excellence!

Unfortunately, if he made this glorious masterpiece available to the public in any form, the place would be run down again. Only houseguests he personally invites would keep the place pristine.

Timothy is the perfect owner for that magnificent château. He is like a king of design and very benevolent and rightly that is his castle.

@@omg3320 Take what you have and make it beautiful for you!! Start with small touches, treat yourself with little joys of the day and slowly start to create the surrounding you want. I live in a tiny park model home in the middle of nowhere in the Arizona desert (which I'm not crazy about AT ALL) and am in the process of creating my own "chateau" and am LOVING it. It makes me feel so much more grateful for what I have and I can enjoy the creativity and success of others. Just some loving thoughts -- take care of yourself, treat yourself nice!

Quintessential to say this is how we all should live.

As my father and i worked and worked, room by room, and now i am freee of everything. It was a marvelous time. I still admire watching the renovations and walk by the antiques that scream " buy me, buy me !" It is a mod mod mod world. Love you Timothy and Susanna. 🌟🌟☀️☀️🤴👸 The bust with the mask and his hothouse. We call them greenhouses in New England.
