Turning things on in your workspace like a just walking in the command centre for drone attacks, great explanation and very well knowledge.

I watched the whole video. This is great. I'd like to have one of these radios some day, and I know it will be sent to you, Ground Control. Thank you for this. You are the man.

That was a awesome vid. I have a AT 6666 in transit, looking forward to it. Brand new, factory not touched. Gonna stay that way. Any changes via the menu. No clipping allowed lol. Enjoy listening to you talk at your desk, solid. The At 6666 is a good radio as long as nobody screws with it. Have a great day Brother

Lots of meter baiter shops out there. Clean and mean is the only way to go. Modulation pattern stability matters. Seen this happen in the mid 1990s especially with the Galaxy Saturn Turbos and the RCi 2290s base radios. All the radios were setup for AM use only. Limiter was clipped and power was turned up to 200 watts. Power supplies were maxed out and radios were just screaming scatter splatter boxes. Thanks to guys like you I never went down that road with any of my radios. Thanks. High five ✋️

My quad six came under modulated. But it also only had a 15 watt carrier. So I bumped up the modulation and laft it alone. The ssb needed a little cleaning up but still hits almost 70 watts clean. On sideband, its not the ssb ph to clean it up, its the anl. ammod is microphone sensitivity. Am anl is modulation.

Beautiful clean signal,& thats the problem with these HI-PWR merchants they are just speed freaks for sure.Keep it clean keep it green and sound like a pro,Add a cheap amp to these botched radio"s & see all hell let loose on the air waves.

with crap cooling ribs I made short work of Dremel and cut out a rib finished, it's annoying when you have to change the cable often!

Thinking about getting one of these or the at 5555n. And how are these from the factory, untouched. Just stock, are they worth it?
