Asylum seekers in limbo as Seattle grapples with hotel payments and relocation plans
Where will a group of asylum seekers stay now that the city of Seattle agreed to fund its hotel rooms for two months?
The refugee families were shocked to wake up to a warning of a possible eviction from their current hotel in Kent on Thursday.
The Quality Inn General Manager told KOMO News on Thursday afternoon the city of Seattle had yet to offer a contract for the two-month stay. On Thursday evening, Seattle's Human Services Director offered to pay for a week of hotel rooms, but the GM declined, saying that’s not enough and not the full 2-month commitment the asylum seekers have requested.

@@joshuaphillips755actually, most of us did. When Kshama sawant was successfully sued.
Meanwhile 25% of Seattle’s schools could be closed, due to budget issues. Don’t worry kids! The “new comers”, have only cost taxpayers 100 million in this state alone.
Hope limbo is the name of the deportation bus

A beautiful community THAT HAS TO PAY FOR EVERY THING!!!
“ asylum seekers” LOL
Be grateful your son is getting a American Education. If you would build communities back home you country would not be a dumpster fire... If the millions of people coming here would put as much effort in changing the countries they came from they could stay there.
They are not Asylum seekers. Its not even a moderately high percentage of them that can be remotely called such. Stop spreading misinformation.
