i hate android authority with a passion.. for many reasons. I once left a tab open on their mobile site overnight, and woke up to a warning that my data monitoring app had blocked them for using almost 200mb of data.. i forgot all about it until one day i was reading an article when i received another warning. In the 15 minutes i was on their site, it had used almost 80mb.. imo, a website that is dedicated to mobile devices, but chooses to use ads that arent mobile friendly (to a phones data plan) says a lot.. Had i not had that app installed, i would have used up all of my 2gb high speed data allotment for the month, twice.. Plus shitty reviews, shitty advice, and other etc etc type of stuff just makes them suck.. eff AA

I just got a ZenFone 3 max like 2 weeks ago and I have no regrets. great price and a very good looking.phone. feels premium and it last a whole day of constant use

it's great that these phones are coming out like flagships without costing an arm and a leg

This guy should replace C4Etech and Pocketnow's reviewers.

As laser is latest and better compared to max, definitely people will think about getting a better camera or battery life. A review should be like this, a perfect one ! No one does such review. Also the presentation is excellent !. Overall perfect review !

The picture qualitysuffers in low light unlike the zenfone max whichcan take really good picture. The battery was slashed to 4100mah as well. I know asus wants some identity with each phone line up but come on asus! You cant go backwards with your phones. I had the phone for two week and i rate it 7 out of 10

asus zonfone max is better than z.3 max. although 3max has a fingerprint sensor but still i dont like it. im using zenfone max and its worth it.

I bought my friends zenfone 3max for the price of 20 dollars because it has a cracked screen but works perfectly i bought an lcd replacement for 20 dollars too and now i have a good phone for the price of 40 dollars😄

tbh...thats the Zenfone Pegasus 3...it has the same model number as the Zenfone 3 Max (ZC520TL)...the pure Z3M has thinner bezels...i saw it on Lazada...they hve same specs...same model number...but different name...and the bezels too...just gving some info.. :)

lazer is better if you want a good camera, good shape, goodscreen... the max is better if you want a good battery

Hi guys! I just got mine today.. as a huge social media user i was expecting the best quality picture for my photos on snapchat and instagram. I AM SO DISAPPOINTED! The front camera makes horrible webcam quality pictures (on snapchat and on the camera mode) the settings are all on the maximum but still the pictures on snapchat are horrific! (Plus a green line appears on my snaps) If anyone has the same problem please confirm so I can send it back asap.. 😭

WinnyBL Same as mine. Also the battery drains faster. It was fully charged and after using it for 30 mins, I get 90% left. Pfft. My J5 lasts longer than this

This is an amazing phone

Performance wise, which one is better out of: Zenfone 3 Max Zc520TL Zenfone Pegasus 3 Zenfone 2 Ze551ML (4gb version) Am confused because of all the negative reviews in gsmarena.com as well, but theres still very few positive reviews even for Ze551ML haha. Even the Zenfone 3 Max/Pegasus 3 have more negative reviews in gsmarena. Not sure if I should take them as is or not to bother with them. Thanks for the time before :)

Christa Anker I am very impressed with it so far. it was 200 at best buy and amazing value so far. there are a few quirks, but they will be adjusted when I get used to the phone useability. I would recommend it for sure. I've never dropped below 50% and that's with a full day of heavy use. the camera seems very reasonable quality, outer speaker pumps quite loud with good quality sound. very happy I went with it :) Thank you for asking!
